Is there anything at all out there regarding Specialized releasing a new Enduro? It almost feels forgotten about, which is quite strange for what was traditionally one of their biggest models.

To be completely fair, that's probably something written into most contracts - I doubt they wrote that in there thinking the business was going to collapse at some point. Why would they even bother having a race team then? I'm sure with the money involved lawyers are most definitely involved with that stuff. Plus how do you expect to get paid if the business no longer exists?

Banned for what? Because they are facing financial troubles? I think it’s time to cool down for some of us here. All riders are apparently signed to new teams, their team manager Gunnar did a hell of a job getting the riders through these final rounds and none of the customers are facing financial loss. If you take into account the strict German regulations on insolvency this all ended up pretty much as good as it possibly could

I wouldn’t call it free labor. They got free education including housing, food ect.. (ask any student drowning in debt that was worth). They get first pick of classes. They got so many other feee things. Can you argue they were underpaid ok but free labor is BS

I just gotta say, as far as mtb online community contributions to the lexicon go... crab link is way better then downcountry. I agree, it looks like it’s full 27.5. It seems like an odd business decision though, other brands seem to be trying to cut down on number of models. Currently Transition has the Sentinel (can be long shocked to 160), the Patrol (160 or 170 depending on shock), and the Spire (160 or 170 depending on shock). Adding a 4th bike in the 160-180mm range is an odd choice. The Patrol is great in a Dual Crown Freeride setup. Maybe they’re gonna combine the Patrol and the Spire into one bike.
