You're correct, USAC will not be doing the event production. We're keeping all of that in house. We are working with them to make the US Nattys happen for Enduro and E-Enduro, but the NAEC is keeping full production responsibility for the event. - Tony

Syndicate do seem to keep riders for a long time. If they took a second year junior, they just repeat the problem next year and so on. And then they would have to start cutting riders to make room on both the roster and balance sheet. Not that anyone in that position at any team would be bad at it, but with his experience and time served I would say Peaty is probably quite good at talent spotting. Win the first race, unlikely. Win the 6th or 7th, with half a season's experience, plus the syndicate's line spotting and tutoring...

Lol I mean...yeah. But they know he's not coming close to the top juniors right now, which is perfectly fine. So, they have to have other expectations and I'd love to know what they are given he's now on probably history top 3 teams.

I'm excited for the schedule release of the Pro Downhill Schedule. Especially the US Open. With Lenzerheide, Lake Placid and MSA being so close together that only leaves one weekend open. Then that would be like 4 weekends straight of downhill racing. Really tough on teams and riders.

That part of the Alps is granite or something similar (volcanic source, hard as woodpecker lips). Grippy AF. For us Slovenians, used to limestone which is slick at the best of times and is like ice in the wet, it was a complete WTF regarding grip levels when it was damp or wet. Better than dry in our neck of the woods.

2024 season recap from Frameworks Racing:

USAC just announced all dates and venues for every discipline except gravity on Instagram. Which, of course, was no surprise but still annoyed me. However, in the comments, they said that they’ll be working with the Monster Pro DH series to host gravity Nats. Then they basically allude to Monster Pro DH being the ones who will be running gravity Nats. So that’s positive news, I think.

Afaik, USAC moved collegiate nats to Bentonville without actually asking anyone on staff at Rock Creek if they could host on the new date. Things are just fine at the venue now and Henderson County in general is open for bussiness and could really, really use the tourist dollars. The DH race will be at Coler Preserve. Even the 1999 Helen, GA collegiate dh track is more in line with DH racing in 2025 than anything in Coler. USAC is on the ropes pretty hard right now trying to please “varsity” collegiate programs, which are mostly made of of small...

Top of Lower McKenzie, though the glades, jumps off mid station, into Stag Brook, across Fox, then finishes at the bottom of the gondola.
