I thought that was excellent. Good views of the riding, good commentary (I laughed when they knew the name of the dog trailside!), no awkward filler, the portraits of the riders without helmets at start of every run. I was trying to enjoy it more than analyze it so didn't have a stopwatch or anything, but of a 2:10-3:00 race run time it felt like half was shown. If a rider lost of gained time on a split it didn't seem mysterious. This one might be contentious, but I think the slower track conditions made it easier to watch, too...

That's amazing. Very impressive speed, especially if he spent some time on the ground in his race run. Conditions looked equal parts sick and scary.

Zanna beat Shell and Abby Ronca at Showshoe DHSE last year at 15 (on World Cup Track minus Wild Zone and special jumps) for her 1st pro win. But this is definitely another level to beat Taylor and Aletha with their results history . Race Replay Video should be up soon so folks can see how she did it

There is no denying your opinion that changing of the Guard is in USDH is brewing. I foresee an epic battle between Ryan Pinkerton and Dakota Norton/Luca Shaw at the Tennessee as a battle between the new guard and old guard. Clay has the drive to make this series not only "stick" for the foreseeable future, but take it to a level folks of my "generation" have never seen in USDH racing. I'm stoked to see what unfolds over the next 5 years. I personally did not get into Downhill racing until 2008 so I missed the NORBA heyday completely. Time to make our own history
