6/12/2024 10:26am Wonder how much Drag Dakota's hair causes. He could probably shave 4 seconds with a haircut.

6/2/2024 1:01pm SRAM has had webinars on it. The product is being sent to shops. It was supposed to be launched in the fall with the new Specialized UDH Crux. Seems like they have abandoned the typical embargo because it's being shown everywhere. Shimano has DI2 XTR and DI2 1x GRX dropping as well. Great time to be a consumer of bikes...

3/25/2024 9:23am Probably nothing. It's all part of their massive marketing budget. If they don't sponsor crankworx it wouldn't change their sales either. Red Bull's profits in 2023: €1.56 billion They print money. Crankworx is a rounding error on a balance sheet.

3/24/2024 7:29pm Key word. Incentives. Not mandatory. They can pick and choose. 100k for 1 day may seem good untill your blow your knee and miss 6 months... It's a gamble.

3/24/2024 2:31pm But.... the XGames did pay Tony Hawk and others who negotiated appearance fees. Shaun White also would demand 100k or more just to show up to events like Dew Tour. In action sports, a super famous athlete who is "bigger" than the event can demand payment for use of name and likeness. Red Bull is smart. They sponsor athletes and...

3/24/2024 12:11pm A bunch of privileged kids on bikes demanding buffet lunches and 2k travel from Red Bull to spin off ramps doesn't exactly draw massive public support of the masses. Nor does their strike impact lives like say UPS or a dockworker. Let the kids have their temper tantrum. The adults will ride bikes and make fun of them on vital.

3/24/2024 11:38am If they don't like their pay from Crankworx, they should get a job that pays more. This entitled mindset must be driven by a overvalued self worth to their sponsors? Crankworx needs to create some macro and micro economics classes as well as basic accounting with profit and loss education. Maybe slopestyle competitor isn't such a great career choice?

3/23/2024 6:54pm So the event has to pay riders? Maybe the riders should start their own event series, get sponsors, handle logistics, insurance and all the fun that goes with it. Isn't it up to their sponsors to pay them? Maybe the riders need better sponsors. Oh well. It's just BMX on big frames. I'll go ride my bike and watch lame...
18LifeToGo Added a reply to Prototyping during race season, yay or nay?
3/20/2024 8:21am LOL. I'm not a pivot fan at all and will never buy one. But not because of this failed prototype frame. The bias in some is amazing. I'd get a pivot if they ditched that horrid logo placement and awful graphics. I bet the bikes ride really well.

3/17/2024 6:57pm Neko Mulally raced with a cracked frame a year ago. Super sketch. I think i'd prefer welded aluminum lugged frame vs carbon / aluminum with glue. When has glue ever worked well on anything metal?

3/3/2024 6:25pm You get massive numbers in those regions of the world. Lots of people watch on their phones. They typically aren't mtb customers. It's just eyeballs. So it's not a relevant audience. Great for Red Bull. Not great for a bike brand trying to sell things in the USA or Europe.

3/2/2024 6:21pm I will counter your video with... Majority of enduro riders in the USA are moving to ebikes because they are overweight and out of shape. Those riders also probably have a moto background. So firm brakes on a bike aren't big deal compared to riding moto. They are also trying to stop a 50 pound bike and 200 - 240...

2/22/2024 7:02am LOL. SRAM has been redoing their shipping and warehouse all year. Why? So they can sell consumer direct. Bye bye Bike shops. This is the end.

2/18/2024 8:26am How long can Pinkbike last in its current form? Staff heavy and their original content has low viewership. At what point does Outside just convert it to a bike brand PR hosting platform and they start sharing the mega influencers content.
