Anybody have information on simplicity with which it could be revalved? Is it just a shimmed base valve? Any pictures of the guts of it?

I had one of these around 2002. Mine had a silver marzocchi super T fork with 150 travel I think. Terrible bike. I loved it. 26” rear wheel would rub the seat tube so bad.

Ugh, those rims were awful to put tires on. That was also when I thought 4 ply DH tires were smart. Think I use smaller tire levers on my moto tires than I did those...

Did he actually measure if and how much time he was losing on the pedal sections? And how would they determine its because of the extra weight? These things can be measured in a number of different ways without much difficulty these days......

I'm pretty sure I'm 167cm tall. Not really! I was worried to run the 2.5 on the front but I didn't notice any issues, and because I run DHR2 on the rear I am able to run a 2.4 if I'm running the 471 in the rear. Honestly, I still haven't found my perfect wheel setup/choice yet. Still testing, still learning.

Seth wasn’t willing to drill a hole in his seat was he? It’s a normal AXS dropper, normal battery. Different seat clamps to get the right angle and then the plastic drilled out to allow the seat to get to that angle.

Looked like they were doing A TON of earthmoving with big machines in that lower road gap/wallride section. I suspect we're gonna see something fresh in that section from the Fort Bill trail crew for World Champs. Also, Bruni wants that 6th rainbow jersey BAAAAD if he's doing solo days in the Scottish highlands outside of the BDS schedule. Cool to see.

Track looks to be the same as used in the recent BDS. Question is, when it comes to the World Champs will it be the same line through the woods, or will there be another line incorporating the road gap?

5/26/2023 10:29pm Joe Breeden seems to be getting along dandy fine with the heavy bike in this week's Vital RAW. And I thought people were adding lead weights to their bottom brackets last season. Seems like you have to do a lot of work to shave 5 pounds off a frame. Would be shocked if it's that much.

I don't know what everyone is worrying about, they'll get at least 4 runs before qualifying, thats heaps. I only need 2 for my local races.

On the vital podcast Dakota said the new race frame they were trying to reduce weight. He said the current bike was 41 or 43lb and they want to get to 38lb I believe he said?
