Yeah it would mainly be used for diagnosing issues or validating a retune - In theory a dialed team would have tunes worked out in advance or have shocks ready to go, and you should have processes refined enough that you don't need to check that a rebuild worked properly. Aletha had a really scary scorpion crash on the rock gap drop into the berm. She was down for a while, seemed like she got the wind knocked out of her. I was honestly surprised she eventually got back on and finished up. Ana crashed in the same spot, got off easier but ended up through the tape below the berm. Skelton came up a little short and exploded her rear tire. Scarsi straight bossed the gap.

Race was super fun as a spectator. Kids had a great time. May not be the best track but some more Rocky Mountain/West coast races where you get to see top riders is awesome. Good vibes in the woods.

This feels emblematic of WBD's failures to understand and effectively market the sport of mountain biking. More extensive live race coverage? Nah, let's create an awards show, because TV execs like awards shows. "The Golden Arrows," "The Summit," "The Globe"... gimme a break.
