8/1/2024 9:23pm Been using Hope stuff for 25+ years. Got to know Simon (founder RIP) and have visited the factories a few times. Good stuff made by a company with a good ethos who look after their customers and employees.

8/1/2024 9:21pm Well, here’s one thing I can already say that is very positive about Padmelon. I placed my order yesterday but was hemming and hawing about whether to order for my DH bike or enduro bike. I decided enduro and quickly ordered as I was late getting out the door. Apparently I had mistakenly added the mount for my DH bike instead of my enduro bike but had ordered the correct damper. The Padmelon team caught it, sent me an email and told me they would hold the order until I confirmed. This saved me a lot of time and money and...

8/1/2024 9:17pm Internal routing is super simple on Scott bikes because of the big hatch you open to access the shock, and you’re going to prolong shock life simply by less exposure to the elements and potentially allow for better performance in wet conditions - its a gimmick and if you asked me 12 months ago id have whole heartedly agreed with you - but honestly the more I see them in person the more im starting to like them.

7/25/2024 8:43pm You know what's really super awesome? When the SC bikes do finally get released like this, we'll get ANOTHER 5 pages of people rehashing the same points ad nauseum.

7/23/2024 10:17pm Hey all, I'm looking to experiment with a set of Hope T4V4's and I've got a few questions for any owners out there. First off, are the braided lines a make or "brake"? I'm buying them used and for whatever reason they have standard hoses instead of the braided lines. I'm not a big guy (165 kitted) and don't tend...

7/18/2024 7:04pm Not sure if it’s coincidence but when I was servicing my airspring I slightly crushed the shaft in my shaft clamp. Same ones I’ve been using for years on all my suspension, I thought it was user error but could just be a soft thin material they used. I bought a new one.

7/17/2024 12:29pm When it's removed entirely from the fork, I actually set it up on a micrometer and found it has a 3 thou wiggle at about halfway down the shaft

7/16/2024 8:42pm Hey all, Just went to service my new RS Zeb after the first 40 hours and have found that the airspring seems to be bent or crushed somehow. I am %99 sure it wasn't due to me taking apart (I used the proper blocks and have performed plenty of suspension services) but about halfway up the shaft seems to be...

7/13/2024 1:59pm May not resolve the issue, but it never, ever hurts to order some good, 4-bolt adapters like NSB and get fork and caliper faced.

7/8/2024 8:17pm Anybody think that the new Specialized Enduro will come out sooner than expected? I was just looking at their site and noticed they are down to 2 models left. Almost sold out of the current gen enduro

7/7/2024 8:33pm It doesn't look like it has much seat post insertion available and the headtube looks to be a ZS56/ZS56 more commonly seen on proper DH bike. Can't find the picture of the new spicy but I would think the shock sits lower to make more space for the dropper which could be done with a different upper linkage if they really share the same frame.

7/7/2024 8:33pm Since noone’s answering in the PIT BITS’ comment section, i’ll ask here as well (and hopefully steer the thread back to rumors): how come there’s no talk about the Lapierre high-pivot dh-bike? Or is it the new Spicy with just a dc-fork up front, which was listed shortly somewhere and now is gone and nowhere to be seen?
