I don't disagree with him. Having said that, isolating the vertical natural frequency of a frame should be pretty straightforward and would go along way to minimising those vibrations felt by the rider. If you've got an FE model of the front triangle already, running a modal frequency analysis takes no time at all and will get you in the right ball park for the most significant frequencies that get excited.

The thing is, registration deadline is 15th, UCI page however does not become available immediately, last year it happened around 10th of February... But this still gave some info on previously unannounced teams, I think UNNO was one of them...

May I add that, in addition to having a killer bike, the Commencal Vallnord - Riding Addiction team also just happened to be on it in terms of organization and strategy this year. It was pretty clear as early as the preseason that they already had a plan in mind and it was executed perfectly in 2018. Getting Daprela and Pierron into the team was a fantastic first step. They also chose the right sponsors (SRAM and Spank, in particular) and training regimens for all their riders. Unlike other teams which were scrambling to get a 29" DH frankenbike ready...

Hrastnik is following only one race team and that's Unior Tools/Devinci racing I know its instagram... But probably decent hints at whats to come.
