Based on better parking lot bite of organics I'd bet organics have a better friction coefficient. When cold. Sintered pads come to life when warmed up and on long descents as their performance is more constant with rising temperature of the system compared to organics.

i can tell you it's impossible. i think they give them all to the sponsored dh team, i literally spent hours trying to find who has one, used german forums, all the possible dealers in europe that sell online, never had luck.

From what I understand of Trickstuff Maxima, there is no reason for bite point adjustment on the Maxima, Trickstuff has a very specific setup that generates equal distribution of fluid to each piston so that the rotor is perfectly centered between the pads. Lewis had to throw in some adjustment as their calipers do not perform the same. I know the Lewis are like 1/4 of the price, but they are without doubt intended copies of Trickstuff with a few aesthetic differences

For a decent bit, I've run dhr ii maxxgrip front and dhr ii maxxterra rear on a couple of different bikes. Got conti curious. FWIW, here are my thoughts. Enduro Xynotal soft is my new trail-bike, local-trails tire of choice unless it's dry and loose. I was on a NC trip a while back and had an Madonna and EXe with me. Was mainly riding the RAAW, so I left the Xynotal on the back of the EXe to see how it would do. Plan was to just use the RAAW rear wheel if I didn't get on with it...

So they had a gravel trap on the test track for this very reason, I was able to test on paved road and gravel, worked equally well in both situations. I had to do a few runs on the gravel as I didn't trust the ABS, once I had the confidence to brake really hard it was faultless. Obviously flat ground is not representative of real world trail use, so would be keen to use it in anger on some proper trails.

Got to see the new Schwalbe Assegai/Kryptotal type tyre at Eurobike today on a random bike that it probably should not have been on. Knobs look bigger generally to me, though I could not check side by side with the Maxxis/Conti equivalent. Looks like it should be a good addition to the Schwalbe range.

Also got to try the Bosch ABS braking today, really impressed with it, not at all what I was expecting and really changed my mind on the idea.

They printed 60 twice on the Y-axis (LOL) so I think that is supposed to be 50mm or 34% which is slightly more realistic. Still, that is a spectacularly pointless plot. It shows the wheel uses more travel at much higher peak speeds but doesn't say anything about the load at the wheel or force transmitted to the frame.

More suspension sensors than cable guides, but it can be done for sure. Depends on how permanent you want the guides to be but if the shape of the guide is a tight fit to the frame (ie not a flat mount on a curved tube), the surfaces a very thoroughly prepped and cleaned and you use an appropriate adhesive or tape like 3M VHB (used on gopros) then its doable. You can epoxy the guides too which would be fairly permanent and vary depending on material

Differential F/R wheel speed as it's shown in the recent stumpjumper review is a bogus way to measure traction in a mountain bike. Many here may not have read the whitepaper (ha!) for the newest Diverge frame, but it is chock full of pseudoscience b.s. that would be a judgement call between incompetence and academic fraud if the two researchers that are supposed to have collaborated on it published anything like the summary being used by the marketing team. I think Vital and other mtb media shouldn't be copy-pasting this kind of stuff without a level of critical distance from...

The fact they spec their most aggressive model with the Ohlins coil and 38 tells you it will ride just fine with a properly tuned shock with enough damping.
