I’m marveling at this dude’s ability to detach himself from decisions he made. Talking about these onerous contracts that have simply handcuffed them, whatever shall we do? Zero accountability. Like, I expect it from these sociopath CEO LinkedIn financebro podcast goblins, but it’s infuriating to hear. Made it to the halfway mark, I’m out. The cornball way he holds the mic should’ve been enough: dude’s a kook. I sure hope he stays out of racing forever.

It sure seems like Markus came back in early 2024 and the strategy / spending didn't change. Perhaps there were layoffs. Perhaps there were other cuts. But it really didn't sound like it from that interview. What's wild to me was that he was already going hat in hand to the PE guys at the beginning of 2025, and they told him they weren't going to give him 100% of the cash infusion he was asking for. I think it’s pretty clear Markus will say anything he thinks is will help him. Doing it is a diffirent story. forgot to say really enjoyed the pod. You guys kept it light. Ironically, this fits in this thread... But seriously this is one of the craziest freeride edits I've ever seen. A tooth hanger clip and a massive wall bang clip in the same edit... ON THE SAME BIKE? I thought that thing was gonna blow up on that double compression at the end. Wow

Number of bikes shouldn't matter. 1) The warranty rate is probably very low, all things considered. So your net cost is measured in the 4 digit range. 2) Transition has shown the world how warranty should work in a D2C (or hybrid) environment. It really isn't even that hard. Always make sure the customer is happy and make it easy for things to get fixed in a timely fashion. Again...its not hard.

I think keyboard warriors wanted to see YT burn after this to burn Markus. Twice have they burned riders at the top of the game. They burned customers. Why would we want to be oh yeah they are back? All the good karma that they had built up over the years?
