Right? Maybe it is because here in Colorado we see hundreds of test cars every year so we are accustomed to seeing bags and cloth over test materials. Or seeing when Yeti did this in the early 2000's as they were testing the 303. I think it is kind of cool.

"my tone and demeaner for simple idiots like you to understand" This is my favorite part. Thanks for the morning chuckle. It would seem no one here has any information to aid you on your quest for knowledge. Best wishes on your search moving forward. Adieu.

There are many worse things in MTB, as a for instance, cable tourism has entered the chat.

To chime in on this, I was aware of the piston massage before I received my set of Mavens for review and had the procedure explained to me prior to setup. I chose to not do it for two reasons. 1) Ive ridden every Avid/SRAM hydraulic brake since the Juicy Seven and have only ever needed to do that procedure when cleaning the pistons, not on a brand new brake setup. 2) The average consumer throws the owners manual away immediately and then starts a forum topic to help fix their problem. I wanted to give that experience a try...

I don’t know if I buy this argument, I don’t think the evidence would support your characterization. And just so you know where I’m coming from, I don’t have an e-bike. I do ride my road bike about 15-20 hours per week, mostly all super easy endurance volume that supplements my mountain biking. I do lots of intervals and am generally in such good shape that I won’t ever need to buy an e bike and have no desire to. My thoughts on the issue you’re raising: There’s no way people are getting *less healthy* riding e bikes. Even with...

Am I the only person who cannot gather up an ounce of excitement for sram maven brakes? WC DH riders were on guides before the new codes came out. The codes are sweet, saints have always been awesome, the new Hayes brakes sound pretty good too. Idk man seems like we are dissecting a product that doesn’t really need to exist.

In fact, in my experience, it is the very opposite. Well meaning, and well versed in theory, and how to apply principles.

Youve missed the point, Its not because of F1, as thats silly, I'm just using that as an example. The Mavens just arent for everyone, theres nothing wrong with that. I'm good with different products for different people, Im not sure why theres a belief that they should be for everyone. They built a product to service a niche segment, and those people will like them, end of story

Being an engineer doesn’t automatically make someone a capable mechanic

I don't know the person in question, but I can tell you that after 26 years of turning wrenches for a living that neither being an engineer or a good (even great) rider absolutely DOES NOT mean that you know how to work on bikes.

For me, it's starting an account to toss gas on a topic that no one else has said anything about yet. You know something but you're afraid to come out and just say it. That smells fishy to any reasonable person. In your initial post, you display the clear ability to spell, punctuate, and articulate a thought. But in your next post, you would appear to attempt to cover your tracks by failing to use an apostrophe to indicate possession. Next, you indicate you seemingly don't know the difference in usage of then/than and their/there/they're. Sorry, I just don't buy...

Some moto forks do have springs in both sides but certainly not all. Some of the WP forks have an air spring on the left side and damper on the right. Other WP forks have springs on both sides. Just depends on the application.

Hmmm, 2 troll accounts created from out of nowhere in the last couple days in order to try and cast doubt on this operation. Seems like some folks may need a refresher on conflict management and resolution. Whatsoever happened to the phone call or the face-to-face meeting?
