My riding bud has been running a Foes Mixer for years now & has been talking about buying something new. This signing practically guarantees he'll be forced to buy another out of sheer hope of a return to glory. I still love the lines of the DHS. Only red bike I ever drooled over.

I’ve had my transmission bike for a few weeks and I have to say I can’t really relate to what you’re saying. The shifting is on point and as fast as I could ever need it. If you’re talking about a pro level racer, maybe rapid shifting comes in to play more than the average consumer. I definitely wouldn’t call it laggy. Also, I didn’t really say wear and tear. I meant a catastrophic event. All of us in here have probably ridden long enough to know that you have to let off a little bit downshifting during a climb...

I haven’t watched the linked video yet, but I have to say; Who cares how fast it shifts? Having T type on an Ebike is beneficial because it knows where to put the chain at the right time. If you accidentally forget you’re in a high-power mode and ham-fist a shift, you’re not going to snap your chain or cassette or worse…

Try Rev grips if you’re having arm pump/ hand fatigue problems. Makes a noticeable difference

Hell no. Sounds like a great way to increase risk of injury with very little benefit. I get a pro fanagling thru an injury to minimize position loss in the standings. But makes very little sense in any other situation.

Oh I was literally joking. There's ZERO chance viewers have any say on this. You think Gee would give a flying fuck? From what I heard the reason it's not happening is a) they couldn't get a decent netting solution up in time and b) sounds like they ran against a timeframe to actually fix the jumps. I'd even be convinced they didn't think the fix was feasible. From what I can see the reason the transition is so tight is just literally physical space. Could mellow the lip, but you still have a G out issue on the run...

I want to see footage from sections we haven't seen at a race that we get all of the time. I also want to see the new sections. I'd also like to see the sections that are causing the most trouble or where the "race is won." If WB/Discovery doesn't want to make it available in a broadcast, then make it available to download. The cameras are in place, run them.

Sooo let me get this right, the people complaining about only having 30 riders in the final are also the people complaining about having full runs broadcast… what a remarkable coincidence.

First my mom, then my teachers, now Spomer. It is always nice to hear that I am special Wink This is giving the people what they want! Excited to see the results. Should I tell Switzerland to start making a bunch of 18T ratchets?

The French have always done quite well at adapting bikes specifically for Worlds. I remember Fabien's uber slack (for the time) Kona Stab. They always worked super hard to do all they could to win on that one day. Edit: Retro Race Bikes - Fabien Barel's 2005 Kona Stab Supreme (alltimebikes.com)

How is the lightweight e-moto market, Surron Tallarie etc, affecting the DH Mtb fork market? Is this Bilstein fork a result of the increased demand for these types of forks as upgrades or targeting an OEM market?
