The x games events in Philly in the early 2000s were some of my fondest memories from childhood. While i certainly don’t expect the craze they were in the late 90s and early 2000s it would be sweet if they got it to being a solid in person event again.

College racing has had an overall team and individual natl champions for a long time, based on all the disciplines they race. Short track, cross country, slalom, DH- best overall rider that competes in all 4 wins. Team championship is similar, I’m not sure what the exact points structure is for that anymore but it used to be the top 4 rider points in each discipline. I personally always thought the individual one was one of the coolest natl champs you could win. Not sure it’s realistic at the World Cup level but would be cool to see Nino on...

Horrible timing for that guy, switching from Enduro to full time DH and gets a nasty injury the same year the company he rides for implodes. Hope he finds a spot somewhere, maybe he can spend a year racing North American DH races/Crankworx to get his feet back under him.

I assume he’ll take that offer to the owners, and if they accept then we’ll send funds. Have you ridden it since you got it back? I wouldn't be surprised that a loose bushing could be causing some extra binding killing some of the suppleness. Something seems wrong for how little main chamber pressure you are running... Granted I am a little heavier, 198lbs atm, but I am running 113 in the main, and 235 in the ramp. LSC -4, HSC -1 and LSR -5 and its feels like butter over small chatter. My zeb with the C3 feels much less buttery than the ohlins does with an absurdly difficult air spring to dial in. I don't know if Laurie Greenland's contract is up but I think people are assuming he might be let go as he's perceived to of been having a bad season which I'm not sure he has , or at least not as bad as the results might suggest. He had an old school podium at Leogang I think and has had a fair bit of bad luck in finals and is coming off the back of health issues . He's a world cup winner and still relatively young and has shown he has pace when everything goes right for him...

Current status on my front MM Grav/Radial ultrasoft which has about 12 bike park days on it. vs the HR3 with the 6 local rides. There is some undercutting already appearing on some knobs on the HR3.

I’ve ridden both a good amount as a front, they’re both great front tires. I personally prefer the tread of the magic Mary since it’s a little more communicative when it starts to slide out. The high roller probably has a little more overall grip but it’s a little snappy for my tastes. I always feel super confident in it until I suddenly don’t and I wash the front, which almost never happens on the magic Mary. That could easily be a skill issue though, as it’s only an issue when I’m really pushing. This is in loose conditions.

US Customs is stopping the entry of all parts manufactured by Giant in Taiwan over forced labor claims. This has a huge impact on the industry beyond Giant alone. Fastest riders in the history of the planet! You have em race access roads down from the top of that chairlift and it’ll be worth watching. I am unbothered by tracks now. I do think the World Cup season should emulate the greatest racing series of all time (Mariokart) with all sorts of surfaces, speeds, and obstacles, but I’ll take whatever they got here. Goldstone will have something for it. Bruni will have something for it. Brosnan will be ripping and someone will do something wild I’ve never seen before. HYPED!
