There are not a lot of details on the exact surgery, but given his age and that he's a top level athlete... -The earliest he may appear is the 1199 DH at Crankworx in late July -Or More likely worlds at the very end of August -Definitely will be back for Loudenvielle in September and MSA in October.

I'm speculating, but either a MCL or an ACL have multiple months long recovery and that's for basic walking around normally. I'm assuming both is going to compound that since it will be a harder recovery and take longer to regain stability in the knee. I've known lots of people (myself included) who have torn ACL or MCL but I...

What really bothers me is that Lewis brakes CHOSE to MIMIC the way Trickstuff brakes look. Hope/Trickstuff/Intend/Sram/Shimano/Hayes/TRP all look pretty distinguishable, even between some of their own models. It's not how brakes are made is a secret anymore. You have a lever that pushes a piston that pushes fluid that pushes another set of pistons. Sure you can add cams here, adjustments there, play with leverage ratio, fancy cnc, parts, it doesn't really change the way brakes work fundamentally. Not discrediting the manufacturing of these brakes in any way. For a set of the more pricy Lewis brakes you can...

Do tell us what union the slope riders are in? My wife’s in a union at her work (local council in the UK). After over 6 months of negotiations her union managed to secure a pay rise that was exactly the same as the original offer. Bravo Maybe if you put your view across without insulting everyone we’d pay you some attention. I would say eff off back to PB, but that would be unfair to them. Pipe down Greta

Crankworx isn't their employer though. Their employer is their sponsors. Crankworx is the competition they enter, and the platform granted to them to show their skills, market themselves as athletes & ambassadors, and ultimately prove their dollar value to said sponsors.

$1M/yr NZD is the equivalent of £475k GBP/yr. I've got a close friend who puts on similar scale music festivals and that wouldn't even cover infrastructure, policing costs (road closure/diversion costs), staff costs etc.

First, it's not "xenophobic" to try to avoid buying MIC goods if the issue is philosophical and political. China is our enemy, Xi is an authoritarian communist who commits genocide. It was a horrible mistake to partner with China and offshore our manufacturing to them in the first place. Second, Taiwan and China are not the same country despite what Xi thinks. There's a MASSIVE difference between the two and if you won't buy Taiwanese goods then that may have an underlying xenophobic reason. Last, Lewis is a direct rip off of another company's IP. Not everyone is ok with...

I don't think it's xenophobia as much as it is that they appear to be a straight rip-off off of Trickstuff. Will be interesting to see if DT Swiss feels the same way (and does something about it).

I love gold the look of it the taste of it the smell of it the texture. I love gold so much that I even lost my genitalia in an unfortunate schmelting accident.

I'll be shocked if Goldstone is back on a bike at a WC this year. Next year everyone will be complaining about his bionic knee giving him an advantage.

Internal stuff is scarier but it will probably take longer to come back from knee surgery.
