These look kinda like helper springs (the weird part is that they are round though). Helper springs are not there to be progressive, they are there to prevent the spring from flying around on full extension when you put massively stiff springs on a car that otherwise uses softer springs. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/XkkALfh-59Q

I don't remember which account it was exactly (chainslap news?), but a while back a meme page was making jerseys using the 100% logo that said 72% instead, and got slapped with a cease and desist from 100%. I get why they'd do it, but this thing with Kade and the helmet seems pretty on brand for 100% considering.

Aaron Gwin was definitely the highlight of the entire season's broadcast for me. His calmness, insider knowledge, wisdom, and understated sense of humor was exactly what the media booth needed, regardless whether the broadcast was Red Bull or WB/ESO. I don't want him to retire from racing just yet but it will be a very tall order to find a suitable substitute in the broadcast booth next season.

What is with the judging, 89 for Steenbergen? Semenuk scored an 84 for the cave man and well tricked run last year. drop or 2 more this time around but didn't seem to warrant that high of a score Zink a 95? Bienvenido was robbed for pure amp and commitment along with Brednan for his creativity and balls. The slashing & that nose stoppie before the chute. Well! standard Rampage scenes. Hope Godziek heals up well.

That doesn’t really make me feel better about it. Those mondrakers just don’t seem good. Would rather see him in a GT. Also would Just like to see him on an established team, not another new team on a proto bike that’s still working out. Dude deserves a dialed program.

SHORTS BOUNTY UPDATE #2 Alright, after sifting through rule books and spending more time than I thought was possible to figure out if you can wear shorts at a World Cup, here is what I've found: the UCI is cool with shorts and knee/shin protection (page 26 HERE), but each country seems to feel different ways about half-legged clothing (and other protective gear). I think we can all agree that everyone raced the same course under the same conditions and the best rider for that run stood on the top step at the end of the day. I enjoy the variations and nuance of each world cup track and quite frankly wish there was a broader spectrum in the course design. Snowshoe asked some questions of riders that haven't been asked yet this season, and some riders had better answers than others.
