I suppose by similar I mean closer to the fork's angle than horizontal, though I haven't really got any pictures from recent years since I moved my position much further forward. My assessment may be off, it feels neutral and gives me no wrist or arm issues so I really need to look into why it is and where exactly...

I keep hearing this argument and make no sense of it. When I'm in my attack position, my arms are in a similar angle to my head angle. When I'm going down anything steep, I move slightly back but ideally not very far. I think I live in a fairly steep area. My levers are in a similar angle to...

If your rebound is too slow then it can make matters worse, because your fork or shock will pack up and ride in the middle of the stroke bumping up against the progression point, causing harshness. If your rebound is too fast then yea, it's going to bounce you around all over the place, but too slow is just as bad. It being too slow was worse for me than too fast, too fast was a control issue but didn't cause pain as much as arm fatigue. This also assumes your spring is setup properly. Some suspension products won't fully...

Tons of good solutions up above. Something I've been working on is actively 'letting go' of the bars. You see the moto guys do this in the air where they'll actively let their hands loose up on the bars. On certain sections of trail, where you can get away from it, let your hands totally relax. I do this as much as possible even on runs when I don't get arm pump. Building up that muscle memory for longer runs. Takes a good attack stance to pull this off (not saying mine is great) but a good hinge, core strength...

I suffered with Sore hands/fingers for ages The two biggest helpers were: Oneup bars Not death gripping, and this is where good grips like the new odi reflex come in - these are amazing IMO. (not death gripping also elimated arm pump for me) Next was brakes... You need to look at braking efficiency and not 'bring to a stop' - Brakes like shimano Have poor Braking efficiency and because of this many people Drag their brakes which will kill your hands. I started running hope tech 4 v4 brakes and they were basically the end all issues deal, They...

Oneup carbon bars. Setting brake level angle in line with my arms in the ol' "attack" position. If your brakes have them, set pad engagement so levers get as close to grips/fingers as possible at full stop. Cutting 10mm off bar width until I found the right width for me (this was more for sholders but it all aligns).

Hi Max, DT US employee here. I totally appreciate your stance. I have been riding DT products for more than 20 years (and worked here for 3). I was on 36T hubs for a very long time and really liked them. Since starting at DT I have been on the 54T EXP. Last fall I got on the new 90T and to be perfectly fair, I have a hard time telling the difference on trail. The engagement between them is a couple of degrees different but both meet my needs. I work with OEM customers and some are super interested...

I think you might want to review why you made the decision to buy this hub and if you actually like it. If you bought the hub because you want the newest bling, you are right to complain because you don't have the newest bling any more. But having the newest bling is always expensive and you have to keep buying new stuff all the time because new products are released very often especially the hubs these days. If you love the hub, then what are you even talking about? You even questioned why anyone even needs this many engagement...

MrDuck Added a comment about photo Muc-Off Tubeless Valve

That's the first valve that doesn't make me think "Why not just use Schrader?". It's actually quite clever, and if it threads onto the outer threads, it should work with just about any rim depth. An allen operated version would be nice to lose some bulk. If I'm whipping out a pump or gauge, I don't mind whipping out a wrench anyways.

the R accusation is no trivial matter. My brothers roommate had his life ruined over one (he was never charged with anything). On one hand I can see companies just not wanting to deal with any drama at all, too much of a headache, or if they are willing to cut him maybe they are aware of some serious meat to the accusation. I used to be of the opinion "lets not pass judgement until there is a conviction in a court of law" but lately I haven't had much faith in the (US) legal system.

That long seat tube does look awful. I'm always grateful for being 5'8", to be able to have nicely proportioned bikes. But I guess when you're tall it might look normal.

I would love to try one of these forks to see if its for me. It seems like one of the challenges of something like this is since its rare, custom, etc., people have to put up a lot of money with faith it will be good. I guess that's why they named the Trust fork that. Trust us, it's great!

Is negative travel different from a traditional fork with sag that can extend into holes and jump touchdowns?
