Anyone have plans for replacement motors/batteries? Could do a core charge type thing where you buy a new motor for $1000, but send in the core and receive $500 back. Same for batteries. I think people (myself especially) are concerned about long term durability and finding replacement parts. I'd be happy to purchase a new OR refurb motor 5 years down the road. Get rid of lifetime warranties and just make replacement parts easy to find and buy.

I'll try to keep it general to stay relevant to the thread, - Even using that much travel on drops might be fine, or at least don't rule out running slightly higher pressure still. Friction & spring are the 2 most important things (after tyres) so don't stress about the damper until those are fully optimised. I bought two on day of release and been riding it since, One alloy 8 and one carbon 9.8(one for my boy but also for me 🤣) I honestly think they are fantastic, Simple layout, easy to work on, Quiet and they ride awesome. We both found the progressive setup to be the best for us, The alloy is heavier but man it's ride feel is really nice and I think I prefer it - You can just tell its built tough aswell which has been a frustrating thing for me and alloy bikes as they never seem to last.

Interesting. I never would have thought mountain bike tech would evolve around your derailleur collecting data, then your phone sending it to sram to then create a firmware update to better optimize it.

As others have shared in this thread, the unknown six bar bike was spotted all the way back in 2023, before the newest Yeti bikes with the latest cable ports launched. Have you tried the Trek Slash+? I have one now and was surprised how balanced it is all round, incredible downhill but still poppy and playful when you want it to be. Haven't ridden the kenevo much, main issue that I had with it was the seatpost insertion was trash, the Slash+ just gives me so much more room to work in comparison. Have a mate with a MTE and he loves it, gets much better range out of it than I do with my HPR50.

Was a good round up from the perspective of a 'rookie' in terms of the whole week build up, managing lines etc. He did mention that he spoke to the judges about how to improve his score for the next time. 2 weeks ago I finally got around to having time to set up the new crankbrothers synthesis wheelset from vital fantasy (still so stoked thank you vital and crankbrothers). Pulled the tires and tannus tubeless off my oem set (which I can mount by hand without Tyre levers). Try to install them on the new set. 29r front goes on easy by hand. 27.5 rear is unbelievably tight to get the last little bit and needs levers to get on. Won’t hold air longer than 20min.
