8/28/2025 4:43am Specialized has had more chatter in not releasing new Enduro and DH than they would have had in releasing them. Keep delaying them it keeps the chatter speculation going.

8/20/2025 7:10am I'd bet it's SRAM no doubt putting their twist on another Vorsprung product (Secus) Why innovate when you can copy a small manufacturers homework.

8/20/2025 7:09am Looking forward to vehemently redirecting anything and everything to do with 32 in wheels to that thread in the future, despite all things 32 inch wheel still constituting rumours and innovation at this point.

8/20/2025 7:09am begrudgingly, i've started a 32-inch wheel forum thread. not because i like the idea of them but because at crankworx, way too many people i talked to said they're not going away. https://www.vitalmtb.com/forums/hub/32-inch-wheels-and-mountain-bikes

8/20/2025 7:04am But it's modular now, you only have to replace the broken part not the whole derailleur. (Pay no attention to the fact that the individual replaceable parts are more expensive than an entire derailleur.)

8/20/2025 7:04am Finally! A proper electronic DH rear derailleur. I've been wondering when we'd be able to pay $1500 to ruin three derailleurs on the same rock in one race weekend. Can't come fast enough.

8/20/2025 7:03am Screw that, I don't want to have to disconnect my brake hose just to mount it to a fork. I hate the internally routed rear enough.

8/20/2025 7:01am I have any way to predict that Fox is doing this, but I'd be interested if they went for less torsional stiffness on the new 40 crown. The Podium is supposed to be comparable to the new 36 in terms of torsional stiffness, and it feels great. Because the 40 crown is so much flatter, it looks like Fox was able to make the lowers longer, which would allow for more bushing overlap. I wonder if they're trying to copy some of the Podium magic by adding fore/aft stiffness with more bushing overlap while reducing torsional stiffness for better steering...
