3/15/2024 11:11am So it seems like he is definitely implying that rumors exist, perhaps started by other people who may be jealous, but it is a lie? I am quite skeptical just because it is a huge move to cut bait completely. Like I would imagine Canyon would not release him right now without good reason. With that being said, any NBA fans remember Ime Udoka getting bounced from the Celtics and initially the reports were it is ghastly. Two years later, it seems he just slept with the wrong person's wife consensually and got run out of town because the person...

3/14/2024 11:19pm If you want a shorter offset on your dual crown fork, you can always just flip the crowns backwards and re-install the stanchions (assuming your crowns have offset). I run a 56mm offset boxxer on my Spire with backwards crowns. This reduces the offset to 36mm. The turning radius is just enough to not notice. I also had to make sure my tire wouldn't hit the frame before bottom out since the reduced offset brings it closer to the down tube.

3/11/2024 1:26pm EVERYONE fucked this up, not just Trek. Not quite everyone. I know they took flack for it at the time, but it seems to me Shimano was one of the few companies to see the writing on the wall. https://cyclingindustry.news/a-year-in-review-how-shimano-has-navigated…

3/6/2024 11:12am Hah. So a lot of us were predicting Fezzari for Kyle and Rachel. They'd been spotted on the brand. Another poster who appeared in the know kept insisting, "They won't be on Fezzari." I see what he was doing, now. Well played, sir. Well played.

3/4/2024 9:47am I don’t know if I buy this argument, I don’t think the evidence would support your characterization. And just so you know where I’m coming from, I don’t have an e-bike. I do ride my road bike about 15-20 hours per week, mostly all super easy endurance volume that supplements my mountain biking. I do lots of intervals and am generally in such good shape that I won’t ever need to buy an e bike and have no desire to. My thoughts on the issue you’re raising: There’s no way people are getting *less healthy* riding e bikes. Even with...

3/4/2024 9:33am I don't know the person in question, but I can tell you that after 26 years of turning wrenches for a living that neither being an engineer or a good (even great) rider absolutely DOES NOT mean that you know how to work on bikes.

Jonathon Simonetti Liked a comment about product review FIRST RIDE - 2024 Norco Optic and Sight
2/28/2024 8:33pm That was my initial thought as well, but upon closer inspection in person the tube profiles are notably slimmer on the Optic. Riding the bikes, the Sight feels considerably larger and the stack height is quite a bit taller. Wouldve been cool if they were the same frame since Im all about modular bikes, but unfortunately the links and shock mounts do not swap between bikes.

Source? Someone with photoshop skills will be able to do an overlay from the side profiles on the website to confirm or deny, if the answer to that question isn't coming straight from Norco.

2/27/2024 1:10pm I was looking for more power. The servo wave I believe shortens the throw, so paired with a longer lever, it should be somewhat ideal. At least in my mind.

2/26/2024 2:31pm You might have better luck pairing the MT4100 levers without servowave to the Magura caliper. Longer lever, no servowave so no abrupt braking feel.
