The rumour I've heard is that YT is dead-dead, not just the race team. I did not view it as from a credible source which is why I did not post it here when I heard.

Current status on my front MM Grav/Radial ultrasoft which has about 12 bike park days on it. vs the HR3 with the 6 local rides. There is some undercutting already appearing on some knobs on the HR3.

Very cool stuff. This is one of the differences between a fast rider and a fast racer. The top racers don't just have insane skills, they have insane ability to memorise and process all this detail.

Asa's quali run complete with the backflip! Also, that bike is glittering in the sun, gorgeous. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fztoByBibyM

If you want fast rolling with a good sidewall you could try a Schwalbe Wicked Will SuperTrail. The SuperTrail casing is more supportive than EXO+. It only comes in their SpeedGrip compound, which is firm and long lasting. Fun tire for all-day missions in the dry. I do wish they had it in Soft (aka not that soft).

Wow, you all are getting your bikes crazy light. I've had two full power ebikes. Repeater L was 52 lbs and current Bullit XL is 52.5. I could see dropping 2 lbs throwing silly money at it, but not more than that without weak parts. Maybe the Bullit and XL size add more weight than I would have guessed. @lloyd506...
Anyone have success using a SRAM pro bleed kit on Hayes Dominions? They both have the same fitting, but different thread depth as SRAM has the added O-ring. I have both but would rather ask than try as these days my "workshop" is inside my condo and brake fluid squirting everywhere isn't ideal.

This is where the secondary ‘intangibles’ of being a ‘professional’ come in. Dak also has personality, a story, and some magnetism. Things that make him a good ambassador for your company beyond just results. Sure, some of the young guns are wicked fast, but outside of Asa, we really know nothing about them or who they are. The Alran’s aren’t drawing me into to Commencal the same way Dak might to Mondraker. At the end of the day you need good (enough) results but as long as that threshold is met, other things matter too. I guess my argument is...

It looks like he lost compression damping. Even riding at my non-racer level, I've blown a compression circuit and it behaved just like that. While watching the race I noticed somehting was off with his fork right before he crashed. He was suuuuper deep in travel for a couple seconds before he crashed.

How sad. Since when did this forum become some kind of gossip column, bitching about pro riders who you don’t know personally and have probably never met? Stop this nonsense and just enjoy the spectacle. This season is becoming another classic. Hope it goes to the final round.

Anyone else having flashbacks to the sounds of old Marzocchi forks bottoming? KLANG!!! Hmm, guess I better add another capful of fork oil to each side. Miss/don't miss those old beasts.

What? Mud produces some of the best runs in the history of the sport! Sam's 2007 Champery run, Danny's run in 2011, Gwin's run at Mt Saint Anne in 2018, Recces's 2020 World Championship-winning run, Amaury's 2024 Les Gets run, Ronan's and Max's 2025 Les Gets runs were all fun to watch.

What's going on in the heads of spectators turning up with chainsaws AND ear defenders? I'll put you through this whether you like it or not, but I myself don't want to hear it? They were fun at first, but it's getting a bit old (or maybe it's just me getting a bit old). Lovely to hear a bit of The Prodigy, I kinda knew Liam and Keith back in my raving days and it brought back some great memories.

That's a seriously classy goodbye from Eric. Such a bummer to see sponsored athletes who are so intertwined with a specific brand have to part ways due to the current situation.
