Arguing about surrons and surron demographics on the MTB tech rumors thread. Sick. I wonder if SRAM considered 6 pistons when working on the Mavens. Maybe after the 1000th piston massage, some SRAM tech was like maybe we should just add 2 more pistons.

I got my first ride on these today. I'll get more in the coming week I'm sure. I paired them with a grip change to Wolf Tooth's lockon grips. For a little background, I have pretty significant neuropathy problems in both of my arms due to long running Cubital Tunnel syndrome. I've had surgery but the pain still exists when I ride and sometimes it still lingers after. My problems are somewhat the opposite of Joe's, his seem to stem from being highly athletic and having forearm pump, mine stem from sitting behind a computer since I was 8 years...

After 5 years of riding and living with Dominions on a daily basis I wouldn’t change a thing. Have to give Hayes credit for not following the lemmings and routing the hose next to the bar ‘because it looks cleaner but rattles’ like the two S’s

It looks like the geo chart does not take into account the adjustable reach headset, you can tack on an additional 5mm using the long position. The new frame color is wild. https://www.giant-bicycles.com/ca/glory-advanced-frameset-2027

6/19/2026 8:28am with those reach #s it seems like you'd be looking mostly at XL frames. V10 Propain Rage scott gambler checks the boxes (current gen & last gen) but current gen XL is sold out and doesn't seem to be a frame only option.

Yeah but bike racing is the best sport and the only one that bike racers compete in. Unlike most sports, bicycle racing is a Life Sport. There’s formal competition from 7 expert in bmx into the 80+ field in pretty much every discipline of bike racing. Unlike most sports it’s possible to continue riding bikes post-racing, by yourself in whatever free time you can find. A governing body that is based at least as much about supporting the sport of cycling in the country it governs as winning international medals is vital. I’m not the only person in their 40’s...
