As someone who's 200+ Lb's and rides an enduro bike on blue trails, I've come to the conclusion that I just prefer having more mechanical grip when I ride. I'm also a lazy climber, and I love how more travel allows you to smash through technical climbs while pedaling in a seated position. I've tried short travel bikes, and overall...

I actually download the enduro mag app to read about it. Looks like a sweet bike. I dont get why manufacture's aren't producing DH ebikes. This makes so much more sense then a 130 ebike. I want to ride my shuttle trails on these and not shuttle. Maybe that would be to much like a moto 😱 with a dual crown and coil shock + a full face.

I'm super interested in reading some reviews of this bike. B.K seemed to do better at World Cups on the last production Phoenix compared to the prototype IMO, but maybe he was more focused on wrapping up the CrankWorx title. If they drop a motorized version of this, I'll be on it like flies on doodoo. Wonder if we'll see...

Plessinger isn't on Pierron's level though, so no. Once you're a threat to win any race/championship you enter THEN you can talk about official nicknames and permanent racing numbers ect. Moto AP is awesome, but he's not on RC, or RV, or TP's level yet.

Privateer, and Satelite teams I mean in the most practical way. Specialized and Pivot are for sure, full factory efforts. Mid size teams = Pivot, Intense, Cannondale, Scott ect. Satelite teams= Commencals not sponsored by Muc-Off. Santa Cruzes outside of the Syndicate, ect.

People always say that the privateers are the backbone of racing, and I disagree. The mid size companies and satelite factory teams that have a smaller buget, but still sponsor fan favorite riders are the ones holding the show together, IMO.

Well, if you want to compare eebs to motos Bosch is like Honda/Yamaha and Shimano is like Kawasaki/Suzuki. Average Joes and those with more mechanical sympathy don't have a ton of issues with Zooks and Kawi's, but faster riders have plenty of issues with them, so most people would consider Yamaha and Honda objectively more reliable. Bosch bikes sell for...

Didn’t they release an update to the Session already? Something with the idler being changed a bit to improve suspension further? What new could they introduce? Also, what’s the point of an updated Rail when you have the e-Xe and the e-Slash? I wanna see an e-Session, but feel it would cannibalize e-Slash’s sales - if it ever existed, i’d never buy something else from the brand and think a lit more people think like me! 😁

probably everyone. Marin just switched Bosch, yamaha or Befang are the only good options IMO, You get the odd vocal specilized fanboy with brose but they are just wind. The next gen motors from DJI etc will be fantastic.. Shimano is miles behind.. again... Our local shop is a big time shimano fan but they refuse to sell shimano Ebikes lol.

Im all about cost, my last 2 bikes came with transmission and they were discounted so i got back a heap of money back swapping to XT. was cheaper in end than the lower spec with XT lol. for NZD sake, I dont need $2000 worth of drivetrain hanging off the side of my bike. However, dont get me wrong, the Transmission/AXS works amazing, its just purely a cost problem.

I feel the same way. I'm never selling my current enduro bike, but I see zero reason why I need another pedal powered bike too burly for me to ever break, let alone use to its full potential. (Haibike Nduro 8 Freeride) I'll take a full power super enduro with a dual crown though. Kind of perplexed that there are...

AM/ Enduro bikes (as in non-electric) will not really be a thing in 3-5 years. I'm certain I'll get downvoted for this, heck I would have downvoted this 2 years ago, but in a world where a mid-power e-bike and a full Enduro bike has their weights converge, the bike just becomes redundant. I pedaled my Enduro bikes for a lot of years but at this point it just seems silly to exert so much energy and ride time into the climbing portions of the ride.

Big brands know you were going to buy a Raaw or a Forbidden. You think they’re trying to compete with those brands? Heck no. They’re happy to let them get in on the niche end of the game. Big brands don’t have time to chase trends. They make big fancy bikes for people with teslas and rivianz. Dakine Fanny and pit vipers and discretionary income. A couple kids on the way that the big brands want to get into the Fam asap. At least half the people at the big brands don’t even ride. They come from tech and vacuum...

.. I'm pretty sure most of those people with all the coolest new stuff are all about the eebz these days. Based on the ratio of e bikes to pedal bikes I've been seeing lately, I just wonder how big the market even is for ~$10k pedal bikes anymore.

Seems like horrible timing for the first gen of ultra premium, wireless only pedal bikes to be released. The industry has been practically giving away bikes for the last year, and now they're gonna try and upsell with more expensive builds? Doesn't seem like it'll work out for everyone, and some models might flop IMO.

I personally don't feel like a totally new Enduro is necessary, but if some kind of mullet setting isn't available on the stock bike, that will be a big mistake and hurt sales. The bike isn't even the first choice of the factory team in its namesake series, so realistically, they're not going to rush a new version to market...
