4/7/2024 7:01am I can guarantee you that 5mm of real travel would make a difference as there actually is a difference, maybe its slightly more room for bottom out ramp up, run a little more sag and a more progressive tune , or maybe you run everything the same and it just gives you 5 mm more travel and 5mm more breathing room - would it make or break a bike ? No… but if it didn’t have any tangible effect why would yeti make lunch ride additions and why would other brands such as Santa Cruz make bikes that can be...

4/7/2024 6:42am He had a mechanical out of the gate. An object got caught between his rotor and caliper stopping the rear wheel about 15 sec out of gate. He took the shuttle down and is ready for finals.

4/6/2024 7:59pm Here are my sad attempts to predict the top 10 for the Monster DH Race. Anyone see Rude sneaking on the box? Excited to say Neko seems faster than the last two years. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C5YpuUZu7_2/?igsh=emU3dmV3dTRsNmc=

3/18/2024 5:58am You forgot to say that the Pivot frame broke in half and that Kerr had a very bad crash because of it, I don't understand why this information was omitted. And I bet everyone is wondering if Kerr is okay but there's no news. Anyway the race was very good track really nice.

3/15/2024 7:04am Dude, I got suspended a week last year because I posted a meme I made that said "Slayer is dance music, change my mind" and it went against all community guidelines. Crazy strict now.

3/15/2024 7:03am I think the confusion comes from the fact that he’s the team owner. People see “intense” and “owner” in the same sentence and jump to conclusions. I am super excited to see what he can do with Crestline though. Seems like he’s mirroring what the Athertons have done in Wales. They’d both been around the block and ridden for almost all the big brands. The Athertons bought robot bikes while Gwin’s got a nice slice at Crestline. Athertons have Dyfi and Gwin has Windrock. I’d love to see a red bull project where they ride each other’s bike parks.

3/3/2024 10:57am With old gripshift pinion you had to let it go for it to change, there is no way around it. The benefit is that the shift is instant, you dont need to make a full spin of a crank for the chain to change cog. The let go requires a bit of adjustment, but I absolutely loved the instant shift on my test spin, if it only wasnt so freaking expensive...

3/3/2024 10:55am thanks! so derailing for a bit, but could that thing be dangerous in a crash where first impact is on the lower/back of the head (like you get flung around backwards and whiplashed to your back)? it's a massive single point of contact vs wide/smooth area like the rest of the helmet.

3/3/2024 10:50am Yes its the smart shift electronic system in the new Zerode - the old gearboxes only needed the load to be backed off slightly (like a derailleur) but the reason for that was mostly in the shifting system from what I understand. The box itself can handle the shifting under load so I think the smartshift is able to make it happen because its acting directly on the gearbox. Its a trigger system too, but I havent been able to play with one in person yet to be able to compare
