5/14/2025 5:42am The red is a small belt. Specialized is going after the Gates $100,000 just like the other teams, they are just being stealthy about it. I hope that's it just because it would be funny.

5/14/2025 5:41am Uh... no. That's precisely why they need to bring the name back. Sometimes companies have iconic and excellent names from years past that would totally apply to their new platform and instead call it something else. Or use the iconic name on an ebike.

5/14/2025 5:40am If they come out with a DH bike and don't call it the Undead they should be fired. Out of a cannon. Into the sun.

5/14/2025 5:39am This is what I believe is going on…. 2 blue chainrings/sprockets and the red section of chain is concealed inside the “box”. I wonder if it doesn’t infringe on the DW patent because the 2 gears aren’t vertically oriented from each other.

5/13/2025 8:51am Well, the master cylinder has a similar enough silhouette to some of the TRP's but that seems to be where the similarities end. The styling is unique enough when you look closely. Caliper is definitely different. Interesting bleed port placement

5/13/2025 4:20am Hey I'm back (with Rocky). I might post a bit less here as I navigate current state of the bike industry; I've got a mountain of work to get through after being away from it all for 5 months. Thanks for the well wishes.

5/12/2025 2:32pm Glad to hear it! Cool product and would have been a bummer if it didn't work out. Still want to try out STFU against all the other pedal kickback/chain slap devices I'm trying. One of those situations where if the $40 option could get you 80% of the benefit of the $400 option, that would be pretty sweet for most riders.

5/12/2025 6:08am Full report from Pietra Ligure, courtesy of the the organizers: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BOOKER SNATCHES NAILBITING WIN ON FINAL STAGE IN PIETRA LIGURE AS HARNDEN REMAINS QUEEN OF UCI ENDURO WORLD CUP Daniel Booker waited until the last possible moment to take an outlandishly dramatic first UCI Enduro World Cup round by less than a second at the 2025 season opener, while Harriet Harnden (AON Racing - Tourne Campervans) proved she’s still the woman to beat with a commanding triumph in Pietra Ligure, Finale Outdoor Region (Italy). Booker had led only once across the first six stages as first Jack Moir (YT...

5/12/2025 6:06am Personally I think there are plenty of storylines and content for a boots on the ground live audio only or desk show punctuated with clips/media/info from roving reporters. Just need to see what Bex Barona managed by herself on Instagram this past wee end to believe it could work. Honestly if you got the right host/hosts I would just listen/watch them chatting shit about the live timing results rather than refreshing the stupid page myself.

5/12/2025 6:05am So stoked to see a proper enduro race and good coverage of it! Warning, mini essay on the state of Enduro ahead! I know the that downhill is more spectacular, and it’s certainly easier to cover, but there is something about proper enduro that really draws me in. One aspect is definitely that it’s more relatable — it’s the kind of riding and racing that I do. I can easily imagine just how fried they feel after 4 big days, or a after completing a long taxing stage where you’re just hanging on. But even moreso, it’s the narrative of...

5/12/2025 6:00am If I'm not mistaken, this is the third Enduro World Cup event in a row won on flats: the last two ones were the World Champs in Val di Fassa won by Alex Rudeau and Loudenvielle won by Martin Maes who switched to flats especially for that race.
