2/20/2025 1:57am Kavenz also uses modular dropouts that retain compatability with UDH. As you alluded to, solutions are out there. Just a matter if those solutions play nice with the brands' industrial design.

2/19/2025 11:41am And I have some terrible news for science-minded Top Gear fans: it's not even the same Stig behind the helmet in every episode. It's just entertainment. I'm so sorry to burst your Stig bubble.

2/18/2025 1:48pm The guys at Onlymotion are close to selling their wireless electronics kit. Pretty amazing that they have managed to pack all this into such a small volume. Also, I truly appreciate that you can charge it without removing the dropper, in contrast to certain mtbr comments. As long as you utilize this conversion kit with any of your mechanical droppers that fit it, you just need to put the included USB-C into the frame once. 10min for 2000 actuations and no proprietary charger sounds good to me. Might be difficult to fit the right insertion on some frames with the...

2/17/2025 7:56am long time reader first time poster here.. friends of mine are developing an vacuum bleeder for shocks and fork dampers to fully service your suspension at home, without the need of messy handbleeding. I just got the chance to try the machine myself and it works pretty straight forward. I thought i spread the word in here because i think this is a pretty cool innovation in the mtb tech for home mechanics/ race day applications etc. https://www.futureliteindustries.com/

2/12/2025 1:23pm I believe this guy actually engineered a similar air spring as the Fox38 to be used in other forks, maybe try this one out before you try to modify a fox spring to fit a zeb fork. https://www.instagram.com/rgtec_bike_components Luft Fusion air spring for Fox and Rockshox forks | eBay

2/12/2025 5:09am Kavenz give you that ability with the VHP frame. everything from 120 to 180mm in the rear. And supposedly 140 to 200mm in the front. I`ve tried everything from 160F/120R to 180F/180R and its awesome. The only problem is that you always ride like your on a big bike.

2/12/2025 2:31am It is possible to fit a Fox Airspring with the sleeve in a Zeb. A german guy has done it, I think he only needed one small part to get the spring fixed in the Zeb Chassis. It fit suprisingly well, I had some back and forth with him if it would fit, I could ask him what exactly he did and modified to make it happen.

2/11/2025 10:19pm Here's a Slayer prototype frame built in 2018 IIRC. I have another example of an earlier prototype built with a chip that allowed a low or mid-height main pivot. I'll have to fire up my external drive (cough I'm old..) to get a photo.

2/11/2025 2:36am Garbaruk posted on instagram that they have a new product announcing tomorrow, but a guy that I believe is sponsored by garabaruk seems to have pulled the trigger on his post early. Seems like Garbaruk is launching their own wheelsets, hubs, and spokes. Looks like some nice pieces, and it also seems like they have done a spoke very similar to industry nines "system" spokes. Lets just hope they dont charge like €3k+ for a set, which is what a I9 System carbon wheelset with multiple colors costs here in europe. Post says "reasonable pricing" - Who knows what that...

2/5/2025 2:48am Re BK's bike. Look at the angle of the rear wheel as he lands. And the audio is muted on his POV clip in his video when he hits the drop: https://youtu.be/smvc8h3F47Q?si=EsZcoCKF79KcXaHy&t=1098

2/5/2025 2:48am Its some form or air+coil shock they are working on. It was on an Alutech bike at the Craft Bike Days show back in november as well - I have a bunch of screenshots from it. But intend hasnt released any info other than its not being released any time soon (said a few months ago) They also have an airshock without the dual chambers in the works, so probably a twin tube design, for bikes that cant fit their normal Hover. Not sure if its something that we'll ever see - But this is one of the few pics...

2/1/2025 1:45am I just made an account to make this comment, I'm the guy in that video. They definitely felt bizarre and completely wrong the first couple days with them, which is all we showed in the video. After riding them more I started to love them, and I'll get them on again once the bike park opens. They're not an advantage over normal chainless riding, they're just goofy and fun. Lots of people reached out to buy a set from us, but ours was just a one off we made. If those people put their money where their mouth is that...

1/30/2025 10:41pm Believe it or not, I have one on my bike, and a chain on a few other bikes. Bending with and without load is not the same thing, and the energy used by bending a belt is fairly constant, while chains friction increases with power. There's a dedicated thread to all this now, just saying like someone else mentioned, there's a lot of confirmation bias and a huge echo chamber talking about drag, but I literally just have 2 bikes next to me, one with a belt, and one with a chain I didn't lube after riding yesterday. There's no difference worth...
