Hi Darren, the serial number for the fork is 9.101563. No alterations, it is exactly as delivered by PUSH. Just 4 hours of ride time and a full tear down.

Pulled the PUSH 9.1 fork apart. Total ride time is 4 hours. Front wheel weighs 4.75lbs. I am putting it back together as is for now.

I would say the bite point adjustment is visible here at the bottom. I still can't wrap my head around that thick area where the hose connects. It looks just ridiculous, and I'm really curious about the reasoning behind it. Also, what is LV Oil?

New mud guard apparatus for AON racing. I was thinking, could the mud affect a gate more than a chain if it gets thrown on it? (What the guard here seems to be for) A chainring tooth would fairly easy push any mud through the chain link gap, do gates do equally or less efficiently?

I really hope not because in some cases it is horrible. What may be intentional is it seems every RS fork is slightly narrow at the dropouts. If you try the alignment check without a wheel in the lowers, it is sticky. But as soon as you put a wheel in, it spreads the lowers slightly, and alignment is perfect. Perhaps this is done on purpose in the mfg process? The bushing bores in the lowers are machined and located with the lowers in a slightly loaded (spread apart) state? After 2 years in the trenches dealing with fork friction issues, this is what I have found: In hundreds of forks taken apart and checked for chassis alignment/bushing fit, tight bushings account for maybe 5% of the friction problems. It is almost always the chassis/CSU alignment causing the issue. In rare cases burnishing (or opening up the bushings) is the only way to get any improvement, even though the individual fit on each side is good. Legacy Bike Park is a quick jaunt south from there and is all the rage. Most 15mm axles are hollow aluminum. The easiest solutions to making them stiffer is to not hollow them out, and/or to make them from steel or titanium. I've not done the calculations ( @Primoz, didn't you do that?), but I imagine it could be as stiff as thin walled aluminum 20mm axles. If you look at huck to flat videos it seems that the worst of the flex is at or around the crown. The most productive solution for single crown forks might be to return to 100mm OLD - a 10% narrower CSU would be 10% stiffer.
