Spaniard here, love me some Dak. His insights on B-podcast play a big part of the World Cup season. For me he embodies the American Cool, the good things about the US. But I understand the criticism, he is indeed getting older for DH and perhaps doesnt have the dame appeal for young fans as other riders. still, I do hope he gets a good team, gets the elusive win and rides into the sunset with his girl and his dog.

First things first, It wasnt on a pit bike. Secondly you can get hurt doing anything in life.. that’s life. And thirdly if you’d listened to any of his pod casts last year you would have heard him speak about the meltdowns himself and discuss how he has grown as a person and doesn’t do this anymore. Before you criticise the guy atleast have a small understanding of what you’re criticising.

I think its great because it's not just a suspension book, but a chassis book so even though thetes a sepatate chapter for each topic, he treats the whole vehicle as a system and how each part is influenced by the rest. Each part isn't just theory but there are examples and real world demonstrations of just about every topic (like fork offset and head angle/rake). I disagree. I don't think after months and months of testing we would have uncovered more about the bikes that would offset the extra time/cost we'd have put in. To be clear, this was not a scientific test. Also, I'm not sure what kinda budget you think we got over here but it does not include months of testing in a bike park. The goal was to put down a timed run on a familiar track after we had each bike setup and feeling comfortable to see how times compared against how we felt on the bikes. And to help...

That has been out for the 2024 V10 since late last year. SC has been sending them out under warranty throughout this season, I got mine in July. Still running a good bit a torque through the headset. I haven’t heard of any 2025s needing it, SC said they made some changes.
