I find it to be very location dependent. It's difficult to get G-Wagon drivers here to agree to a $140 work order on a two decade old bike. When I lived in Kelowna, you could convince a homeless person to drop $600 if it was going to keep their pride and joy running. Interesting one from Moir's quali vlog. Of the four local Aussie Wildcard riders invited, only the fastest of the 4 gets to race. So by my crappy math, that means even if they seeded in 1st-4th only one of them would still get to race. Not very Grassroots, but hey. Seeding results are in! Storming time by Asa, stoked to see Gwin up in fifth, and one has to wonder if Jackson is sandbagging or if he's not feeling it. Remember that unlike the World Cup, seeding carries no points and everybody who completes a top-to-bottom run and takes the start in qualifying gets to race finals at Hardline, so people could well be playing their cards close to the chest. There was a Troy Brosnan Vlog when she was on Canyon where they were riding somewhere in the Alps and she had crazy speed and lines and was comfortably riding with Troy and Dante. Badass shredder!

Maybe this has been mentioned before, but I saw Finn and Loic in Queenstown this week in head-to-toe Alpinestars (both in the same kit). Would assume that means the team isn't wearing Specialized gear this season.

If you want to build a base of riders who love Enduro it's clearly time for a miniduro. Limit the races to half the distance or less with half the climbing or less 12.5 miles, 2-2.5k elevation. For a little more action and condensed spectating and celebrating also have a hill climb competition or two mixed in, find a section of trail that is unclimbable, give points to the top 3 riders who make it the farthest, no dabs, no trials hops, no break in pedaling for over 5 seconds.

I was at the rolex 24 in 2019 when you guys got your first win. That was such an incredible year for the race, some of the heaviest hitting lineups at the rolex in the last 10 years were at their best that year. Seems dumb to make this proto Norco an Optic with more travel that pushes it to Sight travel range. Guess they can always do new name. Seem to still have a few of the old Optics, though. Wife loves hers. I think DH transmission will be cooler when they finally trickle it down to cables. improved clearances and potential for shifting under load without a chain snapping. Visually, that TR11 photo looks identical to Bottlerocket save Vivid and beer can head tube instead of a taper.

This is why we did not want too many French riders at the beginning. The team is American : the team principal, Elton Julian, is American/Ecuadorian. We have a workshop in Concord (North Carolina), with the GT racing cars, two trucks etc. Team also has one workshop in Barcelona, which is our base when we race in Europe, also with some race cars, truck, tools.
