Could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that Marzocchi and Fox forks have very similar chassis sizes so that the racers and other pros can just run Fox guts in their Marzocchi forks.

I dig this question and am gonna save it for a future pod to chat about! And on that note, we aren't recording this week or next. I'm going to be traveling so unless Lars or Spomer feel extra motivated to chat we will see everyone in Feb.

Mondraker is cutting it pretty close if they ship a 2.8 coil with a 70mm travel shock. Get the 3.25 coil as recommended by Fox, it has no impact on bike geometry and you won't be risking locking the coil and destroying your shock (and consequently your body) during a bottom out event with a few extra turns of preload.

Way I see it, I pay $20 a month to watch racing. Raw makes the races more fun to watch - it gives you a sense of the track and how the weekend is going. I’m willing to pay Warner bros. Why wouldn’t I be willing to pay vital for Raw?

I’m sure I’m not the only one who’d pitch in to get Lawlor credentialed at each round and make life easier for your budget. $100 on offer.

The Rulezman stem could be interesting on the right frame.. Plus you could reverse it and get a bit of the BMB RR Stem feel.. To me, it seems the Rulezman would be closest to a moto, bars just ahead of the steering axis. The RR stem to favor counter-steering like a street bike..

I really think he would profit a lot from some sort of "try before you buy" model. If you've got something that's way different from the norm, but with easily perceivable benefits, this can help you get more customers. No one likes blindly shelling out 400$ for a thing with dodgy aesthetics and uncertainty as to how it feels on the trail...

True.. I just found it interesting how Reece really noted as being more noticeable on the RR stem. Much like riding a street bike where you really push on the inside bar to turn..

For my DOT brakes I have a water filled spray bottle (same one I use for ride wrap). Since DOT is hygroscopic, you really don't need anything more that water to do a thorough cleanup. Once in a while I also rinse the syringes with the same spray bottle and throw the water as hazardous waste. For my mineral fluid brakes I clean up using a Iso 70% spray bottle. I don't use 99% because it evaporates too quickly. Water and mineral/oil are immiscible hence a solvent is needed.

I was genuinely intrigued and was thinking of buying one of his stems because the BMB ones are so damn expensive, but an advertisement that calls people who disagree "haters and low IQ" immediately kills any chance of sending money his way.

Of all the options out there, I think signing with Trek would maybe be the least surprising. And the possibility is huge for some massive, crazy projects with backing from both Red Bull and Trek. Also, imagine what kind of insane, viking/black metal themed paint jobs he'll get on his bikes from the Trek custom paint shop. I don't love Trek, but am here for Brage getting paid and opportunities that only come from big sponsors.
