I'm working on my own lap timer iOS app and handlebar mounted bluetooth button called Cyclaps. The bluetooth button mounts on your handlebars and communicates directly to the Cyclaps app to start/stop timing and mark segment times. Just hit the button on your bars next to your thumb.
