I view Nathan Pontvianne sort of the way I see Erice Van Leuven: If they get fully healthy and stay healthy all season they're going to be contending for podiums. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see one of them get a win.

Erice is a ticking bomb.
I hope she recoveres well fromthese hellish crashs.
She has to learn how to dosage the immense speed she can reach. Will be a hard task, because she can't afford a third crash like these.
That's a huge difference between Pontvianne and her.
She was super consistent until the first biggy. Most injuries are at the start of bikig season or after an injury. Wefeel like we've had those moments of brilliance and that can fool us in to thinking we're back but the consistency isnt there. Us regular joes have the luxury of easing into it ,if we haveenough situational awarerness, but its hard. Add the extra pressure of earning a pay cheque and being young and shit happens. Compound that with being crazy fast and its explodomat central. I think she just needs to chill abit more, ya capt obvious, and with extra baby steps guage when the rust is actially blown off. Like chill all season and possibly save that juice for the last couple wc's of champs. Couple top tens a podium, and a healthy off season and it's like it never happened

A disappointing but possible reality.
I’d hope to see Neko as a Max Commencal type in the future.
Given efforts made in his local region to improve the DH scene I have to believe he has a larger goal in mind than flipping the FW brand.

Not to forget Dan Roberts (Garage Bike Project) - he's the designer/engineer behind the Frameworks DH and Trail bikes, also the RAAW Yalla, Madonna and Jibb - and several other top frames such as thee Scott Gambler.....that's some CV!
Ella Svegby has shared her battle with anorexia and why she hasn't raced over the last two years, signing off with a planned comeback to racing next season.

That one hits hard. Props to her and endless props also to her dad for fighting for his daughter.
Has anybody any idea what Danny Harts situation will be next year?
How much longer does Remi Therion have with Giant?
Can Trek realistically keep for male elites again?
Will next season be the last time in the start gate for a lot of established riders over the age of 30. . If it is Will the amount of riders in finals be cut to 20 riders in 2028?
So the rumours of no return to South Korea are confirmed, disappointing to see no US downhill race, and Les Gets will be introducing a new track presumably for World Champs at the end of August.

Would be a serious risk to swap frames (from best in class), tires, brakes, and likely suspension onto another team. All of those cited by top riders as factors that can or do affect their performance. Kev would certainly follow and maybe Nico V (Dak made it sound like Nico is Finn's guy) so it could be a winning package.
Also, if I were at the big S or Pure Agency I'd certainly scrounge together the budget to keep the current squad together- its the best performing team on the circuit and having 3x winning riders hedges the marketing spend on the team from injuries (Finn & Jordan last year, Loic this year) and from a marketing angle you have revered riders covering most critical (Finn North America, Jordan UK/EU, Loic basically entire world) excluding Asia Pacific.

Exactly these questions really will need answers soon.
Danny ist off for shure, but did a quite good job the last 2 years esp. on the socials. Norco could see even more changes
Matt Walker at trek is a difficult one maybe.
Blewitt at scott too, maybe. Giant is somehow strange... lms1 is the man and the only safe pick maybe.
Will Bouladou move to Commencal as pompom retires this year?

BMC have closed their XC team. No news where their riders are off to.
Also, any news on Charlie Aldridge?

And props to her being open about it.
Her results in 2024 were phenomenal and showed her talent.
I just saw a post about Tomac Bikes in the Vintage Bikes page on Facebook where someone asked if Finn was going to be racing for Tomac.
