This or both a list price V10 and a Bullit 70?

Its going to weigh the same as a Bonnell.

I can already hear the bearings scream out in pain all the way from the USA. The leverage being put on them is insane.

All that being said, I WANT ONE!

New Specialized enduro coming. My guess is march/april 2027. Apparently specialized believes it will sell better than the stumpy 15 which was one of there best selling bikes. No clue on design, just being told it’s coming

I was told no new Enduro until at least 2027, I figured it was going to be a Sea Otter release given most companies wouldn’t want to release a bike in the dead of Winter in the US. Did anyone else working at a Specialized dealer get any “When’s the new Enduro coming out?” stickers? My rep claimed he made them, but I’ve never gotten a single piece of swag from that dude in 10+ years, so it made me skeptical that Specialized was drumming up a very slow marketing campaign.

In other future product news from the grape vine, TQ will have a new full power motor, the TQx, which will be 100nm. It’ll be tucked into a top tier Norco come spring of 2027. 940wh battery, also. Avinox Norco bikes in route but surprisingly, not at the high end since “that market is already crowded enough”. My last tidbit is a new Shimano motor is already being put into near future release bikes. 100nm as well, but the form factor and weight is of that of an “SL” motor, supposedly one of the smallest and lightest full power motors out on release. Orbea will have a bike with it, unsure of anyone else.

This sounds interesting, especially the last part about Shimano! Maybe I'm just extrapolating from my own preferences here, but I feel that most MTBers who have been in the sport for a while thought the previous-gen Bosch motors were already powerful enough, and that they'd rather have the lightest possible motor + battery package at that power level than even more power and bigger batteries.

Man I hope that the new enduro sells super well, I couldn't care less about specialized but if a non ebike in that travel range sells well it should wake the industry up that there is actually demand for those bikes.

I hope it’s positioned for that to be possible.

If it’s a 6500 dollar frame I really doubt it.   We’ll have to wait and see.  But I wouldn’t be shocked if we got another product squarely on the wealthy side of the barbell  from specialized that isn’t the stumpy or an xc bike and is without a motor.

at the same time they probably do want a kenevo that can span the barbell based on build and may want the bikes to have the same design language.  So perhaps the enduro will still be intended to have alloy options and lower end builds.  Just have to wait for them spy shots.

Not a rumor: silver dorados are dope.

Remind me of shivers so much.
Not a rumor: carbon dorados are ( more classy) classic.

The new Scott Spark DC has transmission info up on the Sram chain length calculator site, looks like 440mm chainstays on all sizes of the site is accurate

Please don’t with the “over-x” thing. “Over-biking” was bad enough! ;-;

We're gonna have a problem here dude

From ESMTB/MTBR - Fox seems to be testing new neo suspension for XC this week. No caliper sensors to be seen, battery placement on the bottom of the leg of the fork. Shock seems to be some xc-float version, not the float x that some XC racers have used before.

I assume the damper has been flipped so that the compression adjustment sits on the bottom now.

Yall got some of them sweet juicy opinions about the Motion Engineering linkage fork using a rear shock as a damper?

I shudder to think what that nicolai weighs, my XL Range VLT is 30kg and it's a huuuuuge bitch. I have to put an event in my calendar to eat pasta and pre workout if I want to try a manual or bunnyhop on the weekend.

Makes sense seeing as I sold a bunch of stuff to pick up a close out Stumpy 15 the other day….

150/140, and it's supposed to be pretty light. Can't remember where I saw those numbers though

has scott finally learnt, you can hide the shock etc but putting cables through the headset kills sales....
I wouldve owned the genius/ransom but they had to put a plastic ring with headset routing... yeah no, no plastic in headsets thanks.

Seriously, the bikes are not bad, but the headset shit needs to die

IMO the proportions look a little wonky with the shock hidden. Like the front and rear triangles were taken from different bikes. The overly long stem isn’t helping either.

Some designs don’t photograph well, so maybe it looks better in person.

The first thing I saw after the pee pee frame color was the exposed lines. Thank sweet baby Jesus if that’s their plan moving forward.

They make pretty good stuff, I just think they overbought into the Dangerholm way of thinking.

The internal routing via headtube badge is pretty good looking.  Could use some small tabs for an externally routed brake cable though.

Are we sure about that? Its supposedly called Spark DC, 150/140 is not very DC of them, but rather trail numbers no?. I would have thought 120 rear 130 front, or perhaps 130/140. But maybe im just imagining things

Scott has a long tradition of doing very light, long travel bikes
