Did SC not give Jackson a crazy long contract? Like 10 years or something?

I think it was 6 years starting with the 2024 season. He mentioned it on a podcast after his knee injury.

he's on contract with syndicate through the 2029 season

I would be shocked if Benny Cool isn't at Scott, French rider, French team.  Goes together like Lamb and tunafish.

Trek must be kicking themselves for letting him go after all the years they supported him as a kid. Wouldn’t be surprised if they tried to make amends by signing Asa on long term.

Snails and Pernod?

Anyway, there's an Atherton vid talking harder about family than Dom Toretto, except it's about Kolb and Charlie, which can only mean one of two things: either they're staying, or they're leaving.

So yeah, 6 year contract starting with the 2024 season.

I can't tell if you're agreeing or not. Wink

with all the debt trek is supposedly in, do they really have enough free cash to buy him out of his frameworks contract?

Those were my exact thoughts, too.

I agree, but they did just release just about every big rider across xc, enduro, and DH. Replace all of that and pay Asa and Benoit?Doesn't...

Doesn't seem that crazy.

Any strong rumors for the Jewetts? Somebody put them in Giant in the spreadsheet, but they reportedly signed 2 year contracts with PFR at the beginning of 2024. Jakob and Dane are fast but not necessarily enough to want to buy them out of a contract. Also PFR doesn't exactly look like they're hurting for cash, considering BK's new warehouse. Anyone know: Giant, Pivot, somewhere else? If they leave, PFR is going to be seriously hurting for points.

French Canadian would be Pepsi and a Mae West.

If they are under contract, I would be surprised to see Giant go at them.. Giant typically grabs young up and comers of the veteran riders on the tail end of their career allowing them to get some good riders at lower prices.. They seem like they don't want to spend top money for a racer that is a consistent podium contender..

The warehouse is subsidised heavily by the Welsh government. Bk runs double duty as rider and team manager. His brother drives and helps out sometimes and Eddy and Matt pitch in a lot considering they are riders too. Ignoring Bk toys, it's a pretty lean operation.

About 4 hours ago Atherton Bikes posted on Instagram. Martin Maes liked it. Is this a place he could go to and be able to do DH and Enduro as Atherton Bikes have both.

I would LOVE to see what he could do on a propper DH bike and a proper team setup.  I always feel bad for him, he got so shafted in 2019.

Martin was on the Atherton team back when they were sponsored by GT. Could be they're just still friends.
