He's praised her a lot on the downtime race reviews and said himself she's got added value now as her points can help get a team elite status .
Fabian Barel on wyn tv gave a fairly management buzzword heavy answer on Canyons plans for next year which I think basically spelt the end of the pirelli team , I guess if you shut that team down that money can fund the extended season the the main team .
Gloria Scarsi had a strong start to the season if I remember rightly and Henry Kerr got 8th at the weekend and has qualified for finals a few times so I wonder if someone might pick them up . Not sure who else is on that team .
just posted up jack rice's MSA interviews to our podcast channel. photos will be up soon, but some interesting bits in some of the audio, like most everyone interviewed not sure what's going on next year. vali seeming like she needs a break and wants to do hardlines and film projects, abigail hogie with some juice and gwin making it sound like some cool stuff will be going down at windrock. nothing concrete in any of them, but that's why it's rumors, right?

In the MSA Wyn TV interview it almost sounded like Lachie will be joining the Trek team next year. At least Wyn prompted it and Lachie didn't bite.
Yeah, that's what I was getting at; with Reece and Loris likely moving on it seems pretty certain (it was discussed earlier in this thread)
I'm saying it again, Loris to Norco. Listen to how much Greg praises him in the postrace interview.
With UCI/WBD making things harder for some teams to race, do we see some teams potentially focus on some of the Redbull events? At least there's still some good exposure there...
in the broadcast, ric (i think) said loris had moved to andorra. that could be for any number of business/tax reasons alone, but gives the commencal rumors some weight.
as for red bull events, most are invite-only IIRC, so it doesn't seem like team X could focus on hard lines (for example). crankworx aren't red bull events.

Loris has been living in andorra for a few years
Quite a few riders from South Africa, Spain and France live in Andorra.
Bike park to train at, 10% tax on income for residents and companies, no sales tax (with only 4.5% VAT), no inheritance, estate or transfer tax and no tax paid on Andorran investment income all make it an attractive place to live.

My guess (and only a guess) after watching that interview is it a US brand. And if "C" how things go is a hint, why not Cannondale. Were'nt there rumbles about them coming back to DH or was that just Ratboy? The way UCI DH is you need deep pockets to race and Cannondale should have them, no? Then again, it could just be Spesh.
Any rumors for which team Aletha Ostgaard will be racing? She was on a Session this year, so will it be the obvious?
The issue with Cannondale is that they are a PON owned brand. While PON has deep pockets, they already have Santa Cruz as their halo racing brand. PON shut down the GT factory team last year, I think it's unlikely they bring a Cannondale factory team back.
True. But gt is also mostly a department store brand that also has high end models in bike shops. Cannondale is a fairly premium brand. And at least around here I see less and less of them compared to the 2010s.
They have decent bikes. If they can get their star rider back in the spotlight it seems like a no brainer.

Interestingly, I view GT and Cannondale as the same as far as premium level goes. I haven’t seen them much outside of REIs for a while (in Colorado at least). It seems like PON have the syndicate as their gravity race team and Cannondale factory as their endurance race team. It’d be surprising to see them expand that with the current industry health, but they do have more cash than most.
Apparently they said on the French broadcast that Atherton won't be at the World Cups next year.
Alan Hatherly OFF Cannondale. already signed elsewhere for 2025. not Specy/Bora. not Decathlon. rumors are Giant/Jayco. Trek who knows, but Trek probably has no more budget.
