Hello Vital MTB Visitor,
We’re conducting a survey and would appreciate your input. Your answers will help Vital and the MTB industry better understand what riders like you want. Survey results will be used to recognize top brands. Make your voice heard!
Five lucky people will be selected at random to win a Vital MTB t-shirt.
Thanks in advance,
The Vital MTB Crew
Yes, Bryn only rides OG High Rollers...from a particular batch produced in 2016, aged in a temperature and humidity controlled cellar, and pre-conditioned with extra virgin olive oil prior to riding.
Can confirm. And if you ever need any new old stock, obscure XC tires, hit up Kabush.
The moon is made of cheese, Wisconsin is known for cheese, Trek is based in Wisconsin, Ronan will ride for Trek.
Recent Trek insta post would indicate that Loris will be with the team in 2024
How is Gee ready to race?
He's clearly walked it off enough
He is a cyborg.
Hey I get this and it’s good!
Jan 1 is new contracts go into effect. Brands will spend the next few weeks/months to built content to announce the new athlete or team. UCI will release the official team rosters days before the brands are scheduled to make their announcement.
Clearly his helmet is to protect the earth from his head when he crashes.
Idk if it’s already been pointed out, but that’s not a Pivot box. Pivots ship in shorter wide boxes and require a frame up assembly. Would love to see Bryn on a pivot though!
Nah its a Pivot.

No one is working harder on this than. intense right now. They've been posting every generation of bikes and racers the last couple weeks so definitely building towards whatever announcement they're going with, be it MS or something else
Jill on Transition? Did this already get posted?
That's Hannah Bergemann
Glad someone did!!
Oops! Thanks for the correction!
Young Union member with very successful 2023 on a different frame last week at home.
Thredbo always good this time of year for those who know what to look for.
Well shid
I've been hearing good things about him, hoping for a Goldstone/Williamsesque battle between him and Asa next year.
Since this is Team Rumours, heard from a friend who lives in Cali, who heard from a friend, that Norton and Pinkerton will be on Mondraker. I assume that is the new Mondraker factory team. As for Intense, Jeff said on the Vintage Downhill Podcast that they will be focussing on young North American talent, so I guess that they could maybe have an own factory team of juniors, but also be a frame sponsor on MS. I honestly hope for that and it would be a genius move, that could maximise their exposure, with these two fronts.
A side question is how well is Mondraker distributed in the US? My perception is that is has more the feel of a boutique brand over there than in Europe. Can they reach numbers?

I have a friend who’s in the engineering team at mondraker, he said that they would have lower budget for 2024 for the team
Please not!! No one performed under monrdraker in the last year since dany and laurie, even with the new bike this year no improvements.
I am not getting this hate, especially from us, who are obviously outside the racing field. It is impossible to judge what a good bike is and what not and especially what a good bike COULD be. How could we, with pretty much no inside knowledge, know that? Just by sheer assumption? Assumptions without solid information are most of the times logical errors. Having success takes a whole lot of ingredients, especially in something like DH racing. I guess sometimes being in the zone and fully motivated could mean more than having a ”good” bike, whatever that may be. Related to Mondraker, I think I saw that positive energy in Jacob Dickson, who was obviously pumped on riding, after being out at the beginning of the season. In order to be fair, we would need the opinion of the riders on the team and it's very little likely to get that, as most of them are diplomatic and try to keep good connections in the industry. And even then it's a question of what the measuring stick is. It's not like everybody has ridden all the bikes on the circuit and know how they ride with their specific tune to them. So there are a lot of variables and saying ”X bike is good and Y bike is bad, because of results” is skin deep, with all due respect.

May be it's nothing but I have seen here couple of rumors about Troy Brosnan. Currently the Canyon CLLCTV Factory Team is having their firs test session to prepare for 2024 in France and as I saw from Fabien Barel's stories, Troy is not with the team. May be he just didn't want to make the big trip to Europe before the holidays, but who know, may be he is off to somewhere else. He is still posting Canyon content tough. Let's keep speculating
Agree, I don't think bikes play that big of a role. I mean, frames are not rocket science and, in general, geometries are pretty similar all across the World Cup. In fact, I would go as far as to say that, if frames were covered during tests, 99% of reviewers wouldn't be able to tell brands apart.
Mondraker haven't scored that much cuz their riders aren't Top 10, as simple as that.
tyler waites newest IG adition clearly says yeti
