Frankly, that’s how the enduro series should be. It doesn’t warrant the big budgets or salaries of xc or DH. It would be cool to level the playing field actually, as that’s the spirit of enduro anyway.
I like it personally, not everything needs to be blacked out like the Spesh tents at the races.
The Spirit of Enduro doesn't produce shareholder value.

As a person that loves enduro, I agree. Not everything needs to be cover3d and supported like dh. Take marathon for example...
I think Chris Ball created a problem that didn't need to exist. Trying to figure out how to cover it...it doesn't need the coverage of dh so stop wasting time trying to solve it.

Yes, and the reason they have outside non-cycling industry sponsors is because of huge TV eyeballs. Millions of viewers. That's why what WBD is trying to do with World Cup DH makes sense (if you want bigger budgets). They're trying to make TV packages that can run on Eurosport and get more outside eyeballs on the sport. Thereby, large non-cycling company brands (most likely European) would sponsor teams with larger sums of cash.

Unfortunately can’t see a way forward for enduro after 2025. Too many riders with no rides and marketing budgets from brands not investing into enduro.
The biggest issue is the races are owned by a tv entity and enduro isn’t viable for this

2024 has been the last season of this project. Three years of World Cup races, long weeks of teamwork and great vibes - We poured all our passion into it and we are really proud of what we built with this amazing group of people - that was true teamwork.
