10/8/2020 9:36am Yeah who wants social justice am i right? Overflowing with irony you bunch of absolute snowflakes crying because you got down voted on a mountain bike website
Yes internet activism is annoying and pointless, I'd rather people were out doing actual political work but my god it's better than you right wing cry babies.

10/8/2020 9:34am Hey, remember 9 posts ago in this thread when we were bummed that Bike Magazine was going out of business? Or the part where we were grateful for decades of great MTB content from so many amazing contributors, editors, photographers, and writers? That was cool.

10/8/2020 5:43am Daamn, it seems that, for such a long time, I've been doing it totally wrong, using carparks only to park my car.

10/8/2020 5:40am Yes, they did. DW approached them with the design, and they declined. Suddenly they "invented" ABP on their own and released it before DW had it on any bikes. There was a lawsuit over this: https://www.bicycleretailer.com/north-america/2012/09/07/weagle-sues-tr… DW did not win, though: https://www.vitalmtb.com/news/news/Judge-Rules-Treks-ABP-Design-Does-No…

10/2/2020 7:14am Reality check: Wheel size is 324th on the list of mountain bike variables that affect performance, and it's definitely behind suspension setup, BB height, head angle, and tire size on that list.

9/27/2020 1:10pm I did write Milled out, not Drilled out. So, washers on the bolts to provide for an appropriate gap and clamped down tight in the vice of a Bridgeport. Nothing sketchy about it if you have access to the right equipment.

9/27/2020 11:33am I think it might be partly due to the lockdown and social distancing, more people online sleuthing through forums and looking for something to talk about. Also possibly why we are all over-reacting one way or another. When I came across the new Commencal meta power with prices on a German forum a few weeks before launch, I shared it around a few forums I post on. Nothing malicious, I love Commencal, it was just pure excitement and wanting to start a discussion. And does it really hurt them? We still can't buy them a month after the reveal... And...

9/16/2020 11:55am I think that Enduro bikes will gradually become like the Grim Donut and Paul Aston’s Nicolas G1 while trail bikes will stretch out and become more like short travel enduro bikes (and we’ll all buy them because Enduro bikes will have become too specialist like DH bikes. I think it will take a few brave individuals like Chris Porter, Paul...

9/16/2020 11:49am Those who are thinking that the current "modern" geo is good enough as it is now and will only get "minor updates" in the coming years are probably the reason why the mtb industry is hesitant to roll out the 61° head angle, 80° seat angle Enduro mullet mtb of the future, with a dual crown fork, of course.

9/12/2020 12:47pm Currently Australian citizens or permanent residents you cannot leave Australia due to COVID-19 restrictions unless you have an exemption. Travel insurance is hard to secure. The numbers of returning citizens have been capped, there are very limited flights currently available to and from Australia and many people have not be able to travel back to Australia due to the limited flights. Returning travelers have been bumped off flights at the last min and the only real way of more confidently securing a seat is booking a 1st or business class ticket. Once returned all travelers arriving in Australia, including Australian...
