What about trying zero offset on the lowers of a USD fork, where the axle is directly below the stanchions? Or a USD fork brace like the DVO Emerald, on the back like a RSU Manitou fork, or even on both sides? Those might help a bit with the torsional rigidity.

It's been probably fifteen years since I last serviced my Dorado, but I recall it being very easy, drop in place kind of stuff. Just choose your oil weights and tune. The shim stacks were delightfully exposed and easy to play with. I'm guilty of not reading the entire contents... But did Manitou's Hex axle design play in at all? It seems the right solution to moderate the torsional rigidity. And Primoz... Try a double crown USD fork, ASAP. That bit of torsional flex allows the front end to flow better through ruts and roots than a RSU fork. So...

Seems like it’s always mentioned which is good but I can’t believe how many people won’t even stop and move a small branch/medium size branch off a trail. Pretty embarrassing when you see how many riders use the trails and how few are willing to even give 2-3 mins of time.

That's not exactly true, it depends on a company's marketing strategy. Companies like Carhartt or Filson come to mind. They've been making exactly the same shirt for what seems like 50 years. You can make exciting new products without throwing your existing products in the wastebin of history. In the bike industry, Maxxis is a good example. They've brought out a bunch of new tires in the last few years, but they still sell the DHF.

What’s Out: The bike industry always trying to push the idea that you need to buy a new bike every two years because 1.) the newer bikes “are so much better” or 2.) your parts are worn out and now are dangerous to ride or 3.) only a damn fool rides a bike made 2-3 yrs ago.

No race lines vs chicken lines are different. I’ve seen this on a few local trails, sometimes it’s faster but most of the time it’s more of a go around for the hard part.

Allways out, every year. Straight lining tech twisty trails for KOM's an PB's (or just poor bike handling). It's just the culprits that change yearly. XC heads then 29ers then mobilE bikes now gravel snobs

Giant, at least here in Australia support a LOT of riders and athletes. Lot's of endorsement type deals for athletes of other sports to ride their bikes, but they support a lot of Juniors and up and coming racers here. It's commendable stuff actually. It seems they are not throwing all their $$ into a racer(s) but rather distributing it at a grassroots level and helping a lot of youngsters reach their potential in a relatively expensive sport.
