I have 3 bikes that I ride consistently that all have the same dia and similar insertion. I’m considering selling all 3 droppers and getting something like this to just swap.

Love that kids bikes are coming with real brakes.

Years ago, when BMW came out with telelever suspension, I drew up a full suspension bike frame design with it front and rear. I figured it would be the hot new thing. That same week there it was with Whyte on the down tube on the cover of MBA. Damn. At least I didn't miss out on the riches as I don't think they sold many.

Ah basically says Bienvenido didn't do well cos Rampage isn't about tricks, its about risk and exposure. And Brendog didn't do well cos its isn't about risk and exposure, he needs to do tricks.

I think we all understand the judging criteria and how the judges could consider Zink's run the best one. The confusion is more about the other podium spots which while great, didn't have the same level of exposure (compared to Brendog or even that big/memorable tricks (compared to Bienve). The way I look at is that any highlight reel is going to have Zink's flip, the battleship, Brendog's canyon and Bienve backflip to mega front flip. Its criminal how little dudes are getting for hucking their meat off of stuff. I know video games have a much larger reach then bikes, but Redbull hosts a few video game tournaments where the prize pool nears 1 mill for the winning team. To contrast that to winning rampage or a WC race and getting some warm beer and a high five from your friends hurts my head.

I actually didn't hate the Judging much this year, I thought line choice and amplitude got a lot more points this year compared to others, hence Brendan scoring well, and the top 5 were the guys doing the biggest, fastest stuff. The slope guys that did big spins on smaller stuff all scored lower than they used to. Zink's lines were pretty sizable and that flip was way more huck and pray vs slope. I think if Alba hadn't stopped before the finish and tossed his helmet that first run he'd have been top 5.

Apparently, you're not a victim. Until you've become a victim. I love it up there. 3 hours to the border from where I grew up. I've traveled all over QC racing, snowmobiling, partying and just visiting my friends up there. Still means anyone I know that's not from there still parks a certain way or triple locks their trailers, etc because you can't trust your valuables being safe there all the time. Yep, RPC in practice, cant tell maybe one of Laurie's or Jacksons helmets? Probably would breach either a 100% or a Red Bull contract to either race in a plain helmet / wrong brand helmet. I doubt it was a Trek thing and more of a personal contract issue. If I'm not mistaken Kade is also the only rider on the WC circuit on Red Bull and 100%, so no one else to borrow from. Bummer we didn't get to see a run from him.
