luke meier-smith pov with quali crash - if he's healthy, he's a sleeper pick for sure. the speed they're carrying with the forest so close is mental. totally different "gnar" factor than the UK with consequences and reaction times. so glad he threaded the needle of those trees! wishing everyone a safe race today.

maybe the wrong forum but I noticed Brook riding the EXT fork at hardline but when he posted his crash yesterday the bike has Boxxers on it ? Anyone know of hardline killed the EXT and he didn’t have a spare ?

I'm overdue to write that Telum review, but in short it's phenomenal. If the damper is anywhere near as good as the shock, it will be unreal. I couldn't believe how much better my fork felt with the MRP Lift damper, so I'm totally down for a Vorsprung fork damper.

current speculation on MTBR is that the Mega and Nomad will be merged into one model with a flip chip to convert between mullet and 29. Makes me kinda sad to see the Megatower nameplate die as an owner of gen 1 and 2. I want to add to the Transition quality discussion: they have some of the worst paint I have ever seen on any bicycle, ever (worked in a shop for 6 years). Absolutely terrible. I like a lot of what their brand does but dang, get better paint please.

Good point. They were able to make some sense out of it for the e-bikes, both from marketing stand point and the fit and finish (because motor). I'm not sure how I feel about meat powered bikes from SC leaving the vpp platform... kinda like biting into an oatmeal raisin cookie thinking it was chocolate chip.
