Yeah I skipped the DHX/DHX combo and went straight to DHX/DHR. Partly because that's what the pros run and they know a thing or two, but also because I like my rear to step out before the front. I feel like the long horizontal knobs aligned with the channel between side knobs of the DHR helps it brake loose very consistently and predictably, so its always been my go-to rear tire. DHX is great as a front. I'm actually surprised at how well it's doing in summer mixed loose over hard conditions based on the release info, but not complaining...

Does anyone have any rumors on an Avinox bottle sized range extender? I can't imagine they're content with strapping an entire battery to the downtube and calling it a range extender. Seems like they could do a 300wh one in a decent form factor or maybe even a 200wh that isn't annoying to lug around on your back? The range extender question is the last hurdle for me to want an Avinox bike with an integrated battery. I got to ride the Orbea Wild Avinox (1 of 6 in the US allegedly) around the parking lot the other day and...

$2.99 at Home Depot. Clamp like a vise & force either 1 or both beads into the center channel. Tire cannot come out of the rim. I've used at most 2 before. Just swallows the tire & rim as one. Can disconnect & ratchet back down on the next section of tire harder than a grown man. It's like having 2 buddies latched onto the tire & rim as you work on the bead.

I've sold a small handful of XTR bikes this year, and we've had a fair number of them come back with broken rings. We have near constant complaints about Shimano brakes being significantly louder than other models, and have yet to manage a consistent way to quiet them down, even after investing in a bedding machine. Shimano went proprietary for their freehub even though it was extremely obvious that they could have used HG or paid into XD. Their road 12s systems are on HG still. The new "UDH" achieves nothing. The current UDH has a shelf at the bottom...

And I bet that downhill bike will be the Norco team! Should good timing to release that with the World Cup just happening and hardline right around the corner and having riders and both! This is just speculation but I can’t imagine they’re being a more perfect release time for any Bike right now
