9/26/2025 2:47pm The new 38 is ditching the current 38 air spring to go to a normal one where the piston runs directly on the inner stanchion instead of the current tube inside the stanchion setup. It will also be a glide core air spring. Should see some decent weight savings from that change alone.

9/23/2025 12:49pm RLS is so effective, that in an independent study, RLS was found to reduce the risk of concussion by 4x on average compared with conventional helmets*** Yet the study linked is 1) Not peer reviewed 2) Not actually published yet 3) Is hugely biased. Quote from the study: "Competing interests: This work was funded by HEXR Ltd. All authors are employees of HEXR Ltd or Dropmatics Ltd, which may benefit from the findings." HEXR is the company behind RLS, so they directly benefit from a study about increased safety from RLS. Also, canyon supplied the helmets for the control group...

9/22/2025 1:21pm We’re discussing sport from at home behind our keyboards. I think it’s pretty normal to dissect the personalities and team dynamics as well as the results? Isn’t that what we’re all doing here? Whether I agree with them or not I’m always interested to read the whacky opinions and theories on here. It wouldn’t really be worth logging in if the conversation never went deeper than “I am stoked for everyone who took part”.

9/22/2025 1:17pm We're 2 weeks out from the whiteface race. Haven't seen very much at all about the track other than a handful of social media shots.

9/18/2025 1:11pm Lenzerheide coming up this week. Last European stop before they head to North America to close out the season. The top 2 spots in both the men's and women's Elite standings are pretty close, with less than 75 points separating 1st and 2nd in each. Goldstone: He's having an epic year, obviously. He won Lenzerheide twice as a Junior and finished 6th in his only race there as an Elite. Bruni: Has 1 win at this track (2018), with 5 podiums in 7 races there. Höll: 2 wins as a Junior, but no wins as Elite in Lenzerheide. Best finish...

9/18/2025 1:08pm @ron_goldstone, congratulations for raising an upstanding young man who is behaving in a manner that I find very impressive for someone his age and with the amount of attention and pressure he lives with. Jackson is a fantastic ambassador for the sport and true professional. He is also incredibly fast and his racecraft is phenomenal. His POV track previews are my favorite. The future of DH is bright with the latest generation to step onto the podium. This season ain't over yet! So far it has been fantastic to see so many contenders for the win. The field is stacked...

9/18/2025 12:01pm Loic’s dad is 10x masters champ. You don’t think he has been grooming Loic since a kid? I take it as Jackson had a passion early on and his parents supported it. I find it odd that this forum is about how riders celebrate after the win. I want to see hype, emotion and psych after they cross the line. Everyone who finishes a run at this level deserves to celebrate regardless of how they end up. Henri was showing disbelief and respect, but Jordan wasn’t even able to fake the golf clap right next to him.

9/18/2025 11:59am So on the Jackson deal, rooting for him this year has been the coolest since rooting for Gwin ten years ago. I can't hate on Bruni for trying to get in his head but Goldstone responded the Canadian/midwest way and let his riding do all of his talking. Couldn't be more stoked for him, I can show his vids to friends kids when he was shredding little bikes and then blow their minds by showing him winning world Champs, it's great for the sport.

9/9/2025 3:00pm Can’t imagine being anything other than very much pro- Boost Bro. He seems to like riding bikes as much as anyone on the planet. Does psycho DH lines at mega speed and could probably break out a double backflip in a half hour again. Cmon! All while maintaining appropriate grammar for the situation: “we played to win the game” pro sportstalk in big interviews and “holy shit dude swinging off the back of it” in ripping vids. You diss JG you diss yourself!

9/9/2025 2:54pm I think it's pretty easy to root for Jackson when he pulls out some insane gap in his finals run that no one else has done. Seems to be a regular occurrence

9/9/2025 2:52pm I find it hard to root against Jackson for a bunch of reasons: 1. He's obviously a generational talent on a bike. 2. He looks like he has fun every time he gets on the bike, whether it's practice, in a race or at the local dirt jumps. 3. (Maybe the most important to me) He seems to be stoked for everyone. He placed 16th in Les Gets and is reposting Ronan's winning run. He's almost always at the finish line, waiting to congratulate his competitors. He might be one of best riders on a bike, but he hypes up...

9/9/2025 2:51pm No doubt Goldstone is a nice kid but he’s far from the average mtb bro. He’s basically a factory product, groomed to a level beyond what we’ve seen in the past (no BK jokes please 😂). I think our expectations as fans and his own expectations are just so high that his first rainbow jersey and WC overall feel like a bit of a formality. What’s more exciting is the fact that he’s got the potential to be an all time record breaker. I’ll be rooting for him in 2040.

9/9/2025 2:46pm Nope, sorry but Jackson has been the people's champ since that balance bike video. He seems to be a nice, head screwed on kid. I'd take that over someone who calls him self "Super Bruni" any day of the week.
