This is a more general rant, but why change colors every year at all? And update the spec. Wouldn't it be cheaper to order a 2 or even 3 year batch of frames in the same colorway and the spec components as well? Would people actually care en masse the the shiny new bike isn't the shiny new color compared to last year? If yes, for the love of God, why? What is this like with motorcycles? We know cars have a ~7 year cycle with a mid cycle facelift bringing refreshed styling and some new tech. I've already mentioned...

When you hear the feedback from most racers (girls included), it looks like they are lovin' it and that it is refreshing to have a proper DH track... I mean at a moment, either you want a manicured man made course (boring for some) or you get a gnarly track, technical but also potentially more dangerous. As said above, it's up to the riders to decide if changes should be made or not, they are the ones on the track taking the risks

I think that's a false conclusion. Top Pros bother to show up at any race that matters. That might be for preparation, speed gauge or price purse or bragging rights. They also become top pros because the don't shy away from heavy competition. Imo there's is no fiercer competition than a French Cup besides the WC. Also in Gwins latest Insideline Podcast he says he lacks to have had smaller local races this Offseason to be prepared for the WC. Also if Pierron, Daprela or Gwin aren't Top Bros, who is?

I've actually been thinking of dropping some subtle bullshit in my articles to see if I can catch someone slippin. I think I'll start doing it for the bounty. Would be super easy to catch someone since no one actually reads the documents themselves as a check, they'll just summarize mine. I hope people read this.
