So much Gwin chatter, So much Dak Chatter, and Neko......but uhhhhh, Luca Shaw ended the 2021 season finals with a 5th place and started 22' on an all new bike (after 5-6 years on a v10??) with a 5th place!!! USA emoji.

I'm REALLY wondering why the original link was the way it was and what were the reasons to go with the new one. Was the first one just drawn up and cut and not checked for stiffness/strength at all and that was done later with the new one the result of precautions? Were problems found in testing? Etc. As for Gwin being 35th... There's also the possibility of sandbagging to start the main event earlier in order to beat the rain, if it comes later in the afternoon. Like in 2017...

I have a subaru outback BP. a newer 29" XL fuel-ex just fits with wheels on. passenger seat gets pushed forward a bit, but it fits. ...it even fits with dropper at full extension. I loooove a good wagon for this reason. I have not tried to get 2 inside, and I wont. Its a no. conclusion: maybe it is...

Another point of view on the Vee thing for Gwin - most everyone knows what the Maxxis tires are like performance-wise and have access to them, even if it requires a Sharpie. But if Gwin can work with a different supplier to develop something better, then he's got an advantage that no one else has vs. parity with his competitors. Doing so requires a lot more effort, time, and trust that the vendor can actually achieve that result, but if things go well he could end up with an advantage. Reminded of when I started racing... Neko would show up to races with his dad and Logan with their trailer. Lots of people on R9s, and Frank showing up in his van. Good times for sure. Excited to see where this goes.
