IDEA: race promoters should get this footage (and maybe other helpful metrics) to the racers as they come down. racers can then make the tweaks that they may not have been aware of. RESULT: RACERS save money by avoiding broken bike parts and emergency care -> money flows directly into nearby economy, more racing, maybe the bike industry. PROMOTERS save money with less insurance claims -> money flows back into racing ie pro pay-out... or at least back to the promoter as an incentive to keep the races running (as i dont think many promoters have figured out how to...

Funnily enough I didn’t think to look at my shoe. It’s quite obvious now though. I ride left foot forward and I guess I twist my heel into the crank arm a lot. No signs of wear on the other side. Lots of sand in the dirt where I live too and it creates a perfect sandpaper when damp. I already ordered another set, don’t think it’s a defect, just neglect. Race Race deserve credit for being one of the few original parts on my bike prior to death by sandpaper shoe though

7/19/2021 6:30pm wow. literally looks like a sandpaper job. id be very interested to see the material that did this fine work! do you actively push on the crank for stabilization or something? maybe in corners?

They did come with some protective film, but I can’t remember whether it covered this part of the crank. And it peeled off after a few months anyway. I mean it’s pretty clear that it was being worn down, but Im still surprised at how thin it is.

Since we're on the topic of possible improvements anyway, if possible, I think it'd be nice to be able to have multiple quotes in a single post to avoid double/triple quoting. And a PM dashboard. And as mentioned, a single e-mail notification for the first new post witht he next e-mail delivered after you have checked the thread. I had 60 forum notification e-mails when I came from work today
