2/18/2021 11:52am I see your point. But since we'll never be pro riders, shouldn't we have to shut up about pro riders and their choices ? (to be clear, it's just to be devil's avocate, I 110% agree on the fact nobody have to dictate Rachel's choice. I think we just, on this forum, debating 'cause we're curious and want to see...

2/18/2021 2:10am Not necessarily an end (nobody wants it on this forum I guess !), but at last a pause. Just cause, you know, a man doesn't carry a fragile future human in his belly

2/17/2021 11:23am My guess she wins another wc or two and then goes on and dominates ews. She’d crush the comp and ews schedule and scene seems like a much more enjoyable schedule for a young family.

2/17/2021 11:22am Rachel Atherton's baby will be the 3rd Syndicate rider. But actually, I guess we won't see Rachel racing much this year. Maybe Atherton Bikes will launch a custom carbon/titanium balance-bike to celebrate?

2/15/2021 1:00am The IRT is absolutely awesome (but lacks a touch of sensitivity) and efficient, but it is incredibly hard to find the sweet spot since the progressivity is linked to the two air-chamber pressures, which both have the operating range extremely tight...

2/15/2021 12:56am It's very simple actually, it's just a cartridge. What is not simple is tuning it. I'm guessing that's why dual air went the way of the dodo. It's much harder for an uneducated rider to set it up correctly than an air spring with a single valve. Becuse of a similar reason RS doesn't have high speed rebound in their products, its just not worth it as the users didn't understand it.

2/13/2021 2:43pm Again, it's a 34,9 mm dropper. I checked after my previous comment, the Slash has a 34,9 mm post and OneUp only has one service kit (keys, bushings and collar) regardless of the post diameter. So that's why the collar looks flush, the lower is that much thicker compared to a 31,6 or 30,9 mm post. Which also means the whole lower is thicker, meaning heavier. Very few brands construct a completely different 34,9 mm dropper post, which is understandable, but also sad and a missed opportunity since larger bushings and a larger upper post aren't used as an advantage.

2/10/2021 9:05am In my eyes the idler pulley is necessary to make a high pivot working well. But the idler pulley alone will make a negative effect, for sure, on any well-conceived non-high pivot suspension design (unless you can put an idler pulley concentrically to a "standard" pivot... which is not possible without a ridiculously small chainring).

2/9/2021 10:57pm Just watched Accomplice on Netflix last night and really respected how much time and effort Zink put into making sure that Paul Basagoitia wasn't left feeling alone. Zink taking the time and effort to put that message out on his social media and make a change raised my respect for him even more. Pretty cool... Edit: whoops, name.

In all seriousness, this is a positive sign and no need to further drag his name at the moment. While not public, it’s a positive step.
