I was out shooting the Oceania Champs this weekend which Richie won by 4 seconds and 2nd was Sam Hill. Interesting setup by the looks of things, chainstay is attached to a link that goes through the frame.

Weird, Did Devinci forget about 6ft riders, less than 470 reach and close to 500 is too much... current trend is brands relaxing those reach numbers... devinci didnt get the memo i see.

You wont need to worry about the headset routing as The shop will deal with it when they replaced the cracked frame note: ive broken 3 commencals in a year.

Maybe the most absurd thing I've ever seen. I'm not against small batch, boutique parts, but anyone spending that money on something so frivilous needs to be audited and forced into buying food for the needy or something.

It’s looks like the rear triangle on Rhys Verners Dreadnought is different, or he is riding the DH bike with a single crown? The bracing at the top tube to seatstay is not on the dreadnought frame. His bike also does not have the team colorway.

GODDAM this is annoying. The whole point is that thanks to the rear mech mounting to the axle a hanger is NO LONGER NEEDED. The frames still use a UDH mount and tolerances that have been in use for years now. How many UDH frames have you seen where the axle doesn't thread in due to mis alignment? how many frames have wheels off centre due to bad UDH tolerances? The square root of F'All. Most misalignment comes from poorly produced.....................hangers. If the mech is out of alignment with this system, there is a whole lot of F'wittery going on...

Why are companies doing this? I own a 2022 Meta SX, best bike I've ever ridden but if this is the route (no pun intended) Commencal wants to take, I will look for another brand for my next bike, as would most likely everybody. Why is that so hard for companies to understand?

Soo, we all know about the meta prototype (near public nowadays), a few days back commencal showed us the photos of the factory Enduro teams with the frame with internally routed cables but the frames still looked a bit prototype (not much of a paint job etc) Today, Antonie Vidal (by far the best Enduro rider that commencal haves, and a huge promise in DH) posted his new Meta with a pretty production paint job imo with headset routed cables 😔. So yes, no one is safe nowadays with this sh*t thing about headset routing...

How can a derailleur thats aligned to the axle be out of alignment with the cassette? I feel like people are trying really hard to crap on this tech, but it seems pretty dang dialed.

It happened to me once, my AXS battery empty right after a long DH section, and I need to do a 3.5 miles slight incline climb out. Not a long climb, but it would have been painful since bike was in high gear. Luckily, it was a weekend. So I decided to just sit down and wait... sure enough, 3 mins later, a small pack came up, and I spotted 1 rider had AXS. I kindly asked for favor to borrow his battery to make a few gear shift. Made it back to the car in lower gear 😊.
