😄 actually, that's the first thing my Little Ms complained about. Not just the thickness, but also the length as well. On all her other bikes, have the non-lock-on grip, that I cut down. Thou, the reason I put on my "thinest" lock-on grips from my drawer, is I am not sure how much tuning and adjustment need, or if I need to swap for a riser bar, since the bike is still not even 7 days old, as I'm typing now. But so far she is really liking it. I am going to have her try the v2 Lock-on...

Sweet ride! I would recomend thinner,soft grips,as most lock-on grips are too thick and get small hands tired very easily. ESI Racer's Edge or ODI Longneck push-on are some of the best. All the best to your little racer!

The larger bushing area and tube diameter of the 38 reduces friction, especially under load which everyone benefits from. The air spring is also more optimised for things like less pressure build up in the lowers from the twin tube air spring while retaining a large negative chamber. The 36 platform needed to extend the lowers and stanchion tubes to increase the neg chamber in the latest generation. Personally I don't see the point of going for a 36 at 170mm, I think the visual difference will make people think it feels "lighter" in the front end but I can't...
