Shockcraft Bomber CR kit teaser. Converts all shims to 8mm ID with a new piston bolt for the base valve as well.

Honestly, full Garmin integration is the only compelling reason I’d see to finally trade in my old Purion-controlled CX bike. It’s a shame it took Bosch so long to open up the ecosystem, but finally getting all the data to a real bike computer instead of diving deep into the messy eBike Flow app is the real upgrade here. Okay, and maybe the 12A charger—if it’s not the size of an oldskool VHS player.

One quick question, previous gen Super Deluxe Air had the option to be udoated to the high flow piston and the new force-named compression and rebound shim stacks. On the coil side the update was pushed out in the form of Super Deluxe Coil being renamed to the Vivid Coil. Is there nevertheless an upgrade option for the last Super Deluxe Coil in the same vein as there is for the Air? Or could I revalve it to the same tune I had previously in my air shock and get similar results? (there are some cheap used options out there...

Here's our fresh review of the FOX Float X Live Valve Neo, tested on a short-travel trail bike (hint: we really like it...): https://www.vitalmtb.com/forums/hub/fox-float-x-live-valve-neo-review-a….

What's "WC level progression"? The previous gen Supreme was 15%.

The Murmur has a rising rate (anti-progressive) and riders much better than any of us ride it with this coil shock, which to my knowlege has no HBO nor a progressive coil. The Yeti Switch Infiinty bikes all had/have progression less than 20% and they ride amazing. I know Mr. Cascade thinks anything with less than WC level progression is unridable, but I actually like less progression on a short travel bike. Keep it firm so you have something to push against and preserve geometry.

That's good. I have said it before, but the phantom was a bike so good i bought it twice (with v1 spur in between). And now the frames still available were cheaper than EPing them. They better fix seatpost insertion. Otherwise, any other tweaks would just be icing on the cake.

Thicker rotors only reduce lever travel (which comes from less of a gap between pads and rotor) till the pads are worn a bit and the caliper seals let the pistons slip out a bit to make up for some of the wear. Then, the lever throw is only depending on the seal roll back of the caliper piston seals. The same effect can be achieved by pumping the brakes and by that advancing the pistons slightly before you insert a thinner rotor.

I'm pretty sure it's a case of: Motor, VPP Shock tunnel, dropper insertion, Pick 2.

I'm curious.. How does the staff feel about doing the coverage like this? I've personally liked it. Plus, the fact that others have been able to contribute what they saw and liked at the otter is pretty cool...

I've tried both, the new damper just gives me more confidence to introduce Lsc without the harshness the previous Gen had in that same scenario. Have a flash @100kg run 101psi 5click for steep, 6 for a little more comfort. I'd love to get the old damper custom tuned with a dyno mind you 🤷

Anyone else enjoying the new Smooth Operator? Perhaps it is placebo, but my fork now feels more stable / less divey without giving up the amazing buttery feeling and compliance in high-speed chatter.

Has anybody heard anything about a new mezzer and/or that new dorado prototype that was spotted last year? I remember hearing manitou's fork dynos were very busy a while back when they started liquidating their current mezzers for so cheap. The talk about a coil prototype makes me curious what they're up to.

Yeah, pretty sure they are prototyping a coil Marra, just not yet ready to sell it. Honestly, the air Marra feels boutique enough already, given the not-often-at-all times I’m a seen it ridden compared to really boutique brands out there. Really do think they need to pair the Dorado with a coil shock, while the air Marra Pro deserves a double-crown version of the Mezzer (something like a modern version of the Travis Tripple), good for 190mm with a 15mm axle. Think Intend’s Infinity EN is pretty lonely in this class! @Manitou are you reading this? :D

I have no experience with the GR4s but the T4V4 mod didn't work for me - pistons don't retract properly and the brakes lock up quickly, both ends.
