There's a section of road to an overlook that's about the steepest asphalt around. 2nd lowest gear with a 32 front ring steep. On my buddies last-gen Amflow I kicked it into boost and hit the 20mph cutoff. Utterly insane power.

Hot take: I agree with them. Keep the 20mph mode? 700 watts, 1200 watts, it's a non issue. Bikes with throttles can be an issue for <20mph, but DJI doesn't make one.

I'd much rather fix a carbon bike with a damaged downtube than an aluminium bike with a crack. Between the two, my money would be on the carbon bike having the longer lifespan. Aluminium fatigue is a bitch.
